AUTOCLOVER Tape-On Rain Guards Window Visors 6 Pcs Set for Toyota Rav4 2019 2020 2021 2022 2023 2024 2025 / Window Deflectors, Out-Channel Vent Shades (Smoked)

So I had purchased these about 2 years ago for my 2021 RAV4. And although I understand some might say they don’t last long. I did just replace them for the exact same set because the first set after 2years of sun and car washes, were dull. So I just remove and installed my second set this week. Looks: - look great. The shade/rain protection it offers is exactly what’s expected. Makes the RAV4 stand out a bit as well Durability: -they physically lasted the 2 years and I am sure I can go years more without replacing them. However, I did break down to replace them due to simple dull appearance. Adhesive: -The adhesive is great for being the right amount for the application. I of course needed to remove the old ones and I will tell you it was not easy or fast but possible. If you chose to remove the old to swap for new, I suggest doing it on a warmer day as it was about 95 in CA on this day and I worked from one end to the other but lifting gently along the top (left to right for example). I would not suggest lifting from bottom to top because that is how the chrome piece of your car can be damaged and bent. - when removing, the piece will not stay in one piece. It will end of breaking along the way. So once you start you need to commit. - using a PLASTIC auto trim removal tool, I was able to work the adhesive as I lifted along the way. Do not use a razor as you’ll damage the chrome piece underneath - also since it will break apart as you go in maybe 4-6 inch’s at a time depending on your patience, please wear eye protection. - this work alone is reason to believe they will never fall off it applied correctly. New set: -use the alcohol swab to ensure clean surface before applying again - follow instructions with no driving for 24 hours and after that no speeds faster than 60mph for second 24 hrs. Overall yes I replaced them after a few years but it’s plastic. Just because it’s added to a Toyota doesn’t give it Toyota durability.

I bought these AutoClover Low Profile Vent Visor for my new RAV4 over a month ago. The shipping was great, very secure and well packed. My only negative about the packing was each vent visor piece lacked the peeling plastic scratch protector, gladly they were not scratched. Due to the colder temperatures, I haven’t been able to install them until last week. The instructions state if the temperature is not above 68 then you must use a heat gun, which I didn’t want to do because you can’t get it to hot or it may not stick well either. The temperature was finally in the 70s so I went for it. After we laid everything out, I used the alcohol wipes with two of my own and cleaned the area above each of my windows very well. After dry fitting each piece and peeled the red plastic backing about a half inch, I positioned and stuck each piece just on the ends, rechecked the fit and then while I held the end and stuck- positioned the visor, I had my little one pull down slowly on the red plastic backing, no need for any painters tape or anything else. Just be sure and line it up the first time because lifting up on it causes the adhesive to become weak and therefore not as strong of a stick! Then with my soft gloves on, I pressed in hard and rubbed for a good adhesion. I had my doors shut the whole time so I was able to press in hard and hold for a few seconds to get a complete stick. I left my vehicle parked for 16 hours and then I didn’t drive over 55 miles per hour for 24 hours as stated on the instruction page. The adhesive feels very secure, I’ve always used AVS and these feel just as secure as they do. I have went through both car washes- the no touch and the fully automatic with the slapping fabric rolls and heavy blowers and I have no worries, this visors are stuck very very well! I love the low profile look and the blackout over the chrome! Overall these AutoClover vent visors are just what we wanted. Oh by the way the logo is printed on each of the front windows but it’s etched and therefore not really visible, very tastefully done.

I was a little nervous going into this, due to my propensity to have an extra screw or part at the end of whatever I put together, my likelihood for something like this to not be lined up, and I was concerned it would look cheap and tacky. Luckily, I found this to be easy to install and the end result was quite nice. Attached are a before and after pic but I actually found it to look better in person. My only complaint is the manufacturers name is on the strip, but you wouldn't know unless you were up close and looking for it. I don't have a ton of extra advice from the other reviews but I did watch some YouTube videos and will share what I learned from those and doing it myself. 1. Using painters tape to help hold it didn't feel as pivotal to me, but didn't hurt. I found that when lifting the strip back up to pull the adhesive backer off, it would come back down a bit mis-aligned anyway. With that said, it was SO easy to line up. Just keep the top lined up with the top of the chrome, and the sides with where the chrome ends on the door. This is easier to do if you LEAVE YOUR DOORS OPEN while installing. 2. The toughest part was pulling the back off the adhesive. I recommend using a pair of tweezers. Also - this stuff sticks hard and fast, but you can still pull it up - another reason to not stress over using painters tape. I recommend just letting it stick in the slightest way from gently setting the strip against the chrome without pressing it down, and then only pressing it down once it is lined up exactly. At the end of the day, the process was smooth, and the results are quite nice. It adds a bit of "muscle" to my Rav4, with my only complaint now being that my tire wells feel like I need a little flair there to make them match the windows. The price at $50 seems a bit high for what you get, but it's on the cheaper end of car accessories and is worth it in looks alone. Also, these things are stuck on for life and I have no fear that they will come off under any circumstance. Good purchase overall.

The tape quality is strong. Best for the price. Love that i can crack the window on hot days that has low chances of rain and not worry about rain getting in. They aren't too thick like old rain guards. The fit close to the car. Great airflow and the black color matcha the car. My only reason for 4 stars is that the fob guards did not fully cover the chrome on my car on the driver side. I was annoyed at first, but now it didn't bother me anymore.

They change the look of my car completely! The first time it got here one of the guards came completely cracked. I spoke to autoclover and was wanting to get an exchange for the piece that was cracked. However, the sent me the whole thing again. Which I appreciate! It makes it look like an easy chrome delete. Not only that but, it really cancels out road noise.

Love these, just wish they were a little longer so I can roll down the window a bit more. But they do the job and make car look slick. Also I like that it comes with the small ones for the 3 small window in the back.

Fell apart in less than a year. I purchased this back in October 24, but didn’t get a chance to install them until the summer. I didn’t use the guards for their purpose because it never rains in So Cal, but used it more for aesthetics to hide the chrome on my RAV4. Over the last few days while driving on the freeway, the guards have been rattling and the adhesives on the guards are no holding. The right front passenger rain guard fell out of my vehicle yesterday and this morning the guard on the front driver side fell off. Overall, the guards have held their coloring and has never faded, the fit was fine, the materials are okay; however the adhesive quality is subpar. I’ll have to remove the rest of the rain guards on the rear windows of my vehicle now because the front ones have fallen off.
