I had started feeding my Mothers evergreen for the past 3 years now. When I came home they were struggling. It was simple to put lights on the tree being only 8 to 12 feet tall. Her evergreens has now grown up. To the point I do not put Christmas lights on them being over 20 feet or tall now. They have bush out.. more fuller. This was one of items I started to give them to get them healthy. In my view it has work on all 3 big evergreen trees. I have 3 on the other side of the house. They have not grown tall over the years. When I came they were mostly brown and thin to the point that you could see right through them. I can say they have full in to be nice shape trees. One is still a shrimp no taller than 18 inches but a live…. All 3 evergreen is now Bright dark green in color. Plus they have all full in that you can’t see through them any longer. I’ll take as a win❣️ I hope they start to grow tall this year. Only time will tell. I believe with the food has made there all stronger & healthy to grow.

Unfortunately three of the nine spikes were broken when delivered. There should be a better way to pack them than putting them loose in a rather flimsy box.

The sticks are about 6 inches long. I used a hammer and chisel. I hammered the chisel down about 8 inches .at different angles. Because the stakes are kind of thick. Once i made the hole i just dropped the stake down and hammered them down. Didn't mind that a few slightly broke in pieces, or to dust, as that helped the materials disperse. Watered them in. Done. 6 stakes around a 6 inch diameter spruce evergreen trunk, at least 30 inches from the trunk. 1 stake per inch of diameter trunk, - as per the instructions.

I have used these for years. They are easy to use and they work so well. I live in a condo and when I moved in there was an evergreen next to my deck. It had been neglected for years. It was thin and scraggly. I started using these and years later the evergreen has grown taller and it has filled out. This is not a quick fix but a controlled solution. It didn't get in that condition quickly so it takes a while to recover. I now look at it with pride knowing this product saved my tree. Great bargain.

I try to buy these every year. I buy them for evergreens and for deciduous tree. I think is helped my trees fight off the Pine Bark Beetle infestation.
