These are perfect! They're fresh so the shells are tender not stale or brittle. The seeds are melt in your mouth kind of fresh. The seasoning isn't over done so you get the onion and garlic flavor with traces of salt but have to eat an entire handful to get that really strong salty seasoned flavor. Seasoned so lightly they're perfect because you taste seeds instead of salt. Update: I just bought a bag of the "Jumbo Lightly Salted" and these are the best non flavored pumpkin seeds I've ever eaten. They are big, very lightly salted and they're tender because they aren't overcooked. I'm a life-long seed fanatic and these are amazing.

Had these a few years ago and liked them. They were not available for quite some time after that. Ordered a few days ago and didn't catch the delivery charge which made these an expensive purchase. I wouldn't have minded so much if the quality was there but they were somewhat soft, couldn't taste garlic and onion and they tasted stale with a taste like burnt popcorn smells. I hope the wildlife likes them because I don't!!!! Will not purchase again.

Adding to below, I kept trying a couple more times, because I really didn't want to have to exclude another food item from my already limited diet. I kind of discovered by accident that the flavoring had all just settled lower in the bag and after a good shaking the flavor was better. Also, I do like mine roasted to a crispy brown, which makes them crunchier but reduces the hard chewiness problem. Gerbs underroasts, which leaves them hard to chew, but so does every other commercial whole pumpkin seed provider I've encountered. They shouldn't have any white showing, in my opinion, just like everything else you roast it's supposed to change color. Otherwise it's nothing but dehydrating. I wonder if it's possible to puff them up with high heat like some of the other puffed snacks or cereals out there. Previous batch received in September 2019 of the same flavor (toasted onion & garlic) was very delicious. This batch received in October does not taste good and I keep getting acid when I try it. The date on it is for November 2020, the bag looked fine (sealed, no issues) and I've tried it a few times on different days. It's definitely the pumpkin seeds, not me. This brand is the first I've found with whole roasted pumpkin seeds that are not made mostly of salt, and I've been pleased to discover them. Not so pleased if this is a sample of their quality control.

if you like to eat whole seeds, these are amazing. The flavor is the perfection of garlicy oniony salty. they are good to eat when they arrive, however, I like to cook them a bit longer to get more crunch and less woodiness. I put one layer in a jelly roll and cook for about a half hour at 250 deg. I leave the rest in the freezer until I want the next fresh round. keep them frozen until you are ready to eat and they will last lots longer. I keep some in my purse, at work and in the pantry. Perfect protein high fiber snack.

The flavor of these are fabulous! They are crunchy but I could of had them a little more crunchy myself. The flavor of these are pretty good and the quantity was a lot! These are a great on the go snack that is not too unhealthy it’s pretty good for you I’d say. We like to keep some at the school too because the kids love to snack on them too! Great snack for anytime! Would definitely recommend these!
