I was prepared to give 1 star but had to change to 5. The lid arrived with some manufacturing issues. It wouldn’t attach and made the whole unit feel flimsy. I called support and they were very quick to send a new lid. You can see in the photos the new and old lids for comparison. Great customer service can make a company great!

This product is very substandard. The cheap plastic pieces broke off in the first couple of days use. I contacted AirCare about the problem right away and received no response. Since AirCare has no interest in addressing my problem, I'll stop buying anything from AirCare.

Worked ok. Parts did not fit well.

Used all winter and it worked well. Easy assembly too.

Perfect replacement for old one. Exactly same as my old one that gave me years of use.

My old Idylis broke down after using it for four years. As it is no longer being made, I went with this Aircare unit. I had hoped that it was sturdier than the Idylis, but it seems to be made exactly the same way. The lid you open to pour in the water does not fit completely down unless you fiddle with the sides of the unit by pushing them in. Once you open it to pour water in, you'd have to fiddle with it again. This wouldn't bother me as much, except the pins holding the lid in place (they act as hinges), are also made of the same plastic. The one on my Idylic broke within a month - hopefully this will not. I also did not like that the left-hand hole the pin goes into was still covered with plastic from when it was molded and I had to take a carpet cutter and cut open the hole to put the lid on. The reason I am keeping this is because there aren't really any other units out there that I can find that doesn't involve pouring water into a hole that is too small, or involves bottle-like containers that are heavy to lift if comepletely full, but involves filling the unit twice as often if I do not. With this unit I can fill it all the way with a half-full bucket, (taking two trips of course), but at least it runs for several hours that way.

Works well. Easy to operate.

Very cheaply made and I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. Light plastic, parts don't fit together well etc. But I have to say it was packed well in a good box.
