Kohree RV Door Lock Replacement with Paddle Deadbolt, 100% Zinc Alloy

This new door handle has been wonderful so far. Now the door on my 5th wheel closes smoothly and I don't have to pull on the paddle handle when closing the door, like I had to with the old door latch. It's also nice to have four keys compared to just the one that my boyfriend and I shared before. It looks to be much more sturdy, it fits just as it should, and it took my boyfriend maybe 5 minutes to install it. Definitely recommend to anyone that is looking to replace the original door latch on their RV, 5th Wheel, etc.

Easy install. Used same holes. Less than 15 minutes install if you don’t keep dropping the screws. Not the same type key as most other campers have. I feel it increases security of my locked camper.

The lock fits great, the only thing I found is when you close the door from the inside the handle is a little tight to get your fingers in to pull. Other than that it is perfect. I am a women so for a man with big hands and fingers might be an issue.

The installation was very easy, Took me about 15 minutes /The quality appears to be topflight, The fit is Perfect (2006 Forest River Silverback 5th wheel)/ So it should fit most if not all Forest River Cedar Creek Rigs. The confusion I have seen in some of the comments about screws is simply due to the fact that in addition to the set of mounting screws, four (4) Short for both strike plates and four (4) long screws to secure the main body they have generously included an extra set of long screws for the main body just in case you drop or loose a couple. I would have given thise5 stars but there are no installation instructions At all, Though it is really simple to install, a couple of hints and tips would be nice ( Here's one for ya just for free first install the outer half of the main body install the strike plate to hold it in place, Just snug NOT tight, then start the bottom right mounting screw first, again just snug then you can easily line up the remaining screws. Hold everything where you want and tighten everything up... Voila

Perfect replacement for old latch on an enclosed trailer. Easy installation, more secure lock than original.

OK Lock is sturdy metal and basically I identical to the one I removed and replaced with this one. The issue I had is inside the plastic lover to close the deadbolt while inside the camper the plastic lever was defective and it just kept falling off. So I had to use a pair of pliers to turn the deadbolt so I could get out and then when I got back in I had to use the pliers to turn it to lock it. Very annoying! I lost the lever it fell off —the plastic latch fell off—so I ordered a second lock it arrived faster this time. I could see that the plastic interior lover is quite a bit different than the one on the first lock. So how did the defective latch get past inspection it wouldn't even stay on? No I did not contact the seller and perhaps it's not fair to complain about the product without contacting them but I do not care to ship back the defective lock or hassle with it further. So after installing one lock I had to remove the interior plate and put the new plate on so I actually combined halves of two locks I bought the remaining half will just remain as a paper weight, I guess. It's not really usable because the plastic interior lever is missing. So I ended up paying $50 for a $25 lock X 2.

Solid, well made, and the chrome should stay cleanish for a while. I do like the side keyed key. Was a very easy install.

Works as expected, good quality, great key design

Great product. Fit my 2004 Bigfoot Trailer perfectly. Only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that there were no instructions! You have to pay attention on how you remove the existing lock so that you can install the new one the same way.
