they just arrived, they were all alive, are a good size, their was no smell in the box, the geckos love them and they are a good value for the price paid.

I recently purchased live crickets from Josh's Frogs for my bearded dragon's food. Initially, the first batch of crickets was healthy, but unfortunately, they escaped from their packaging during shipping, causing quite a scene with USPS. As a result, we didn't receive the crickets we ordered. However, what truly impressed me was Josh's Frogs' response to the issue. After contacting them, they promptly sent a replacement batch, which unfortunately got lost in the mail. Undeterred, I reached out to them again, and they went above and beyond by shipping out a new batch via FedEx overnight at their own expense. They even included a generous surplus of crickets, far exceeding our original order. The packaging of the second batch was impeccable, with no escapes, and the crickets arrived healthy and lively. The exceptional customer service and dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction have earned Josh's Frogs a loyal customer in me. Despite the initial hiccup, I'm thrilled with the final outcome and will definitely be ordering from them again. Kudos to the team at Josh's Frogs for turning a potentially negative experience into a positive one!

I've bought from Josh's frogs plenty of times and in the past they were such a reputable seller. I loved buying my crickets from them, however this last time I was highly disappointed. Bought a 250 count of crickets and over half of my crickets arrived dead on arrival. I reached out to customer support and they were amazing as they sent me a whole new box at no cost due to the issue. The customer service was great, however the replacement box of crickets survived 2 days before a horrible smell wreaked through my cricket keeper. I hesitantly opened the box to reveal every single one of my crickets dead, slimy, wet, and maggots coming out of their dead bodies. Gnats were flying out of the container, it was absolutely disgusting. The smell was horrifying, but then I was left with 0 crickets to provide for my frogs. I still feel gross thinking about when I opened the container to get hit in the face with the smell and gnats storming out and then seeing moving worms in my dead crickets. The clean up process it took was also not worth it.. I buy in bulk for a reason but this left me cricket-less and I had to last minute scramble to a local pet store to get my frogs some food. Not sure how I feel moving forward buying from them because I don't want to find myself in the same predicament every single time purchasing crickets. I think I'd rather have over half my order arrive DOA than be slimy and smelly with 0 crickets to save.

I've gotten a couple sizes, both were right on the money. Happy and healthy everytime! Well packaged! Made it to Ohio in the winter alive!

All the crickets were alive and seem to be healthy, but I do not believe they are full grown as ordered

I got my 500 large live crickets today…. And let me tell you, they were LIVE and LARGE!!!! Every single ONE OF THEM!!! They came nicely packaged and with an air vent and a few potato chunks for food. They had egg crate and were all ready for my new home…. (A giant Farm Store bucket with egg cartons) before my bearded dragon has to eat them. Thank you for the GREAT SERVICE!!

So I have bought before the 60 count this is the first time of 250 and tho I knew some would be dead i was expecting better bc the 60 had I think like 2 dead and this one had like 70 plus dead and the reason why I think that is bc of the raw molding potatoes and thoses are good for crickets they can kill them being enclosed with it for long so I just wanted to let others know and I was not expecting how the box opened up but I was them all that jumped
