iNNEXT 2 Pack N64 Controller, Classic Wired N64 64-bit Gamepad Joystick for Ultra 64 Video Game Console

For super Mario 64 speedrunning, I've tried several cheap N64 controllers. The sticks will wear out, of course, they're not made of steel. But while it lasts (I'd give it a few hundred hours per controller) it works well, and feels good.

They work really well. It was nice being able to play old 64 again with a joystick that's not completely worn out.

Picked these up for replacements of my originals. I have the OG Grey, Blue, Red, and Yellow but like usual the joysticks are worn. Until I can replace them I bought these, and very much enjoy them! They really do function jsut like the originals, and i can get back to showing my wife the older games I grew up with!

You take a chance with off-brand controllers, but these work just as good as the originals. One of my old ones crapped out, but the 2 pack gave us the 3 we need so the boys aren’t fighting over them. It’s been great being able to introduce them to the classics. These are definitely worth the buy to replace your old worn out controllers.

I would like to start out by saying the customer service is amazing! I had originally chosen the red and blue colored controllers. The company reached out very quickly and informed me that they did have a red in stock, but it was defective. Instead they offered the following colors. BLUE, Black or Transparent Green. I am so very happy with the quality of the controllers and the colors are even better that I thought! The toggle stick is not sticky and works great. I’ve had no issues with the controllers and am very happy with the purchase. I would highly recommend buy these controllers and I will use the company again in the future.

These are pretty good reproductions. I’m extremely picky and thorough when testing these reproduction controllers. Two things I noticed, once in a very great while the B/A button will stick. However this is so infrequent I felt it wasn’t enough to lower the rating. Just got to press down a little hard on the button to “unstick” it. The other is that the mini-joystick appears to be more sensitive. The old original controllers I have seemed to be a little less sensitive on the joy stick. Again I’m not sure it warrants lowering the product rating, more of an observation. I have yet to test the second controller I purchased from them, but I don’t anticipate having to update this review. If the other controller passes I’ll probably end up purchasing 2 more.

We're not pro gamers, so I couldn't get into finer nuances that might be necessary for competitive gaming, but if you're introducing your kids to your old N64 games and need more controllers, this is the ticket. Feels the same. Comes with extra joystick covers. Nice colour options.
