It's a lot of fun to toss out there and take some shots at it. The target itself seems to be very well made and the field points of my 55# Hoyt recurve don't penetrate all that much. It actually works as advertised; because it is weighted, no matter how much it rolls it always ends up with the correct orientation (meaning, the slightly flat side is always on the ground). Obviously missed arrows tend to end up in the ground - if this is something that bothers you, this target might not be for you. Although I haven't had this too long, I really think it will improve my accuracy because it gets me off of regular targets. Personally, I found pulling arrows out of this a little tough (not nearly so hard as to deduct a star), but maybe it's because I'm used to a really old target where the arrows come out super easy. Having used this a few times, I have no doubts about it's durability and I'll update this review and let you know if it stands the test of time. For the price (about $34 at the time of the review) this is an absolute steal and I completely recommend this to you. I hope this review helps you make a decision. I have not been shooting it for more than a couple weeks, so I'll update if new details come to light ... but right, shooting a 45# recurve with feild point, this thing has no problem stopping an arrow. Also, litte effort to pull the arrow. And what a nice change from the stationary bag target ... my favorite is to toss the target backwards, over your head(safely!!!) Then turn and use your instinctive aiming to plug a dot.
