Solved my mouse issue
I didn't want to pay even more for professionals to take care of my mouse problem, so I ordered 3 of these. They are easy to fill/maintain. I put them around the exterior of my home (rear, and one on each side) and put a brick on top of each just so they can't be moved easily. I check them quarterly to refresh the bait and I have not had a mouse problem since about a week after putting these up. They have a special key to open them so children can't get into them. They are holding up well, have survived bad weather and winter.

New and improved locking device is a win!
So I have one of the older versions of these boxes that uses the metal key that inserts to open the box, and I'm pretty sure you have to utilize 300lbs/in force to get that little key to actually work. Usually it also requires slipping and jabbing yourself in the gut with the key due to the terrible old design. The new design is excellent with a plastic key that inserts and can even stay connected to the box so you don't lose it. Works without jabbing yourself in the gut or straining. Functionally perfect. Killed every rat within a 3 house radius of mine. Even my neighbors complimented me for taking out the pack. Excellent value and if I didn't already have enough, I would buy more of this design. But do be careful, these are so effective that the little critters will all be wiped out in one fell swoop and there will be no one around to eat what remains, so there may be some bodies to manually remove to avoid smells.

They seem fine and easy to use. Instructions below.
I ordered two and they just arrived today. It's a nice bait station for the price. Many people are complaining that it doesn't have instructions and doesn't come with bait. Mine had a small instruction sheet inside and it's not supposed to come with bait. A small bucket of good bait blocks costs more than the bait station. It's also NOT a trap. Some are complaining that it hasn't caught anything. It's not supposed to. It's easy to set up without instructions but I'll provide them below. NOTE1: Wear gloves. Rats are smart and have a good sense of smell. You don't want them smelling you and avoid going inside to eat. To open it, you simply push the key in to unlock it. DON'T TURN THE KEY. The key and instructions are inside. Just hold it vertically and pull the little bag out of the opening. Open the keys and push the key in. You do need to use a little force in order to push the clips back but you want that so someone doesn't accidentally open it. All the key is doing is pushing back the lock clips. I opened and set two of these up in under 5 minutes without looking at the instructions. I'm not mechanical at all and have never used one myself, though I wasn't sure what the second two-piece broken-looking key was until after I set them up. INSTRUCTIONS: Remember your rubber gloves. Open the package, tilt vertically, shake if necessary, and grab the packet of keys and instruction sheet. Insert the key and push it in. You'll need to use a little force but not excessive. Now open the lid Push the four steel rods vertically into their holes. I used a knife handle to tap them in a bit further but a small hammer would be better. Lightly tap them in. Place up to two bait blocks on each rod and close the top until it snaps. You're done! Check it in a week or two to see if anything has been eating the blocks. If not, maybe you touched it, mice/rats aren't in that area, or you don't have bait blocks that they like. The key for both of my units are the same and I just noticed that the keys even fit my pest control company's bigger heavy-duty boxes. NOTE2: This comes with what looks like a second broken key but it's actually half a key with a cap you insert so that you can use it as a keyless system. I wouldn't do that myself as I'd be afraid it might get accidentally opened, exposing the poison blocks to humans or other animals. The only issue I see at this point is that the bait station is rather light so I put a cement garden block on top of them to prevent a rat or anything from moving it. Without some kind of weight, it can be moved easily. I can't say how they will hold up yet as I just put them out but it does seem to be fairly strong material. I'll update this review if they don't hold up or if I come across other issues.

I am impressed!
Very sturdy and seems really safe. Pro tips: pull out the little package inside through the hole, it has the key to open it. Slide the key into the grooves and push hard. It opens right up (standing it up on the edge is helpful when doing this). It comes with an additional attachment for "keyless" entry, but I want this unit to be difficult to get into (as it was without the key). The bars that hold the bait need to be hammered in, I could not slide them all the way down by hand. The box will not close properly if the bars are not fully seated. I like that they will hold the bait in place with less chance of bait being taken out of the box. You cannot see the bait from the outside, it is well hidden with walls within the box. The hole seems small to some for a rat, but rats and mice can wiggle through very small spaces. I have high hopes for this. It is a last resort as my chicken house has become overrun with rats!

Works
Have to make sure it fully locks when closing because if not it'll pop open, but other than that it's great. Easy to fill with bait blocks from pest store. Helps to keep dogs and children out

Y como se supone que va funcionar esta estación, no viene con los bloques o trampas, esto es solamente la caja. Como sigo las trampas internas de la estación? Como se llaman? Donde las consigo?
