I have had two of these in 40 plus years! Just bought my second one.

The real deal. Used the original Jamar dynamometers during my Med school days. And as an Ortho and later Hand Resident. Works every bit as well as I can recall. Currently, it gets plenty of use in my practice as a Hand Surgeon, often giving results that surprise both me and my patient. Interestingly, hand grip strength seems to be tied to our physical health, and even CV health. So, keep testing!

Works great use to test grip strength of firefighters and cop. Results can give an indication of overall strength.

This product is used to assess grip strength of adults and children. Its accurate, light weight and a very useful item for an Occupational Therapist. I am hoping its lasts longer than the Baseline goniometer I have purchased in the past.
