I got this spounge to work with applying Gator Hide Top Coat. I had read some reviews that Gator Hide was hard to apply. I used this spounge and it worked wonderfully. It dried quickly after washing.

I used this sponge with Dixie Belle’s gator hide and it made it so easy to thinly apply. It made the table perfect with no bubbles or steaks.

I bought this sponge and the 16oz Gatorhide and just got around to using it for the first time. I have been painting furniture with Annie Sloan paint and wanted a more durable finish than wax for one of my projects. That project is on hold because I started refinishing a dining table and chairs. I painted the chairs and legs to the table in AS paint and used minwax penetrating stain on the top. I’ve always been awful at applying polyurethane or polycrylic and wasn’t looking forward to sealing the table top. OMG this sponge and the Gatorhide is a game changer. This pic is the first coat and it isn’t even completely dry, but it’s like a factory finish. I’m blown away. And a convert. I may not wax the chairs, I’ll use this on the paint. I love it so much I’m going to try Dixie Belle paint next.

Sponge works very well - washes well. Took a week to get - that’s was the only issue.

Sponge worked well. It held up through a very ornate table and six chairs. Cleaned well. No fraying. Will be able house for additional projects

This sponge is so easy to use, the product goes on seem-less when using it. It’s also a nice quality item, after using it a couple of times, it’s still in great shape.
