UltraPro in-Wall Mechanical Timer Switch, 24hr, 30min Intervals, White

I wanted to replace a Digital in-Wall Timer I have had for many years. It was such a pain to reset yearly due to time changes and power outages. This Manual Timer and it's low-cost look like the way to go. I have a 2-gang wall box to control the outside porch lights where the present timer is located and a rocker switch to control the overhead fan light in the front room. Not hard to hook up this Manual Switch but because of all the wiring in the box with Wire Caps Twist Nuts Connectors in the electric box (3 switching, plus Nest Doorbell camera wire too) there was no way this unit would fit. I purchased an Electrical Box Extender 2 Gang BE-BE2 Extends Electrical Box up to 1 1/2" Flush to Wall (1 Pack) from Amazon. I also upgraded the rocker switch to a lighted one. If you remove the timer dial reinstall loose and don't over tighten so the dial will move for the time reading. I did not install a cover plate yet but may install a modified one for the Timer Dial for clearance.

This mechanical time didn’t work right out of the box: the rotating wheel would stick at 9:00 pm each evening. As I did not immediately have time to install it, once I did… and found it didn’t work, more than 30-days had passed since delivery. Hence, I missed the 30-day Amazon return period. Having already spent time fussing with it, It was not worth anymore of my time to contact the manufacturer… I threw it in the trash and installed another manufacturer’s timer (which is working). OBTW: I’m an A/C contractor and know my way around mechanical & electrical devices… this product is junk!

Our old digital timer for our front lights failed. The new digital are very $$$. See this and just installed. Easy install. Works perfectly. Simple to adjust etc. great value and highly recommend.

Wanted porch light to have a timer feature I can operate from inside my house and easily adjust to different times of the year and of course simple turn on/off from inside wall switch. The electrician initially installed it and by mistake over tightened the center screw, which clearly on the instructions included in the box(paper instructions are always appreciated) says NOT to do. The timer wasn't working until the screw was loosened and now works well.

This product was installed by a professional electrician. It was set up correctly, but failed to turn the lights on after the timer tabs were set and it was put in the timer setting. The on and off switches worked, but the timer switch did not function to turn the lights on and off. When the timer dial was was rotated manually, the lights would come on and turn off in the timer setting. But, when the current/correct time was set and the selector switch was placed in the timer mode, the lights would not come on at the selected time. This product was a complete waste of money and it will be returned.

The best inline non digital timer, period. Easy to install. Easy to use. Only thing that using great is the bolt to hold the timer will in place its cheap plastic, so is the nut & wheel holder housing. I had to remove to install a cover plate, & snapped the housing collar putting back on. Tried to glue it & ended up not being able to because of how thin everything is. It snapped again. 2nd timer was needed. Didn't break this one putting it all together. Not sure it wasn't the first one was just an issue, or was slightly over tightened & it was too fragile. 2nd went in & tightened right up. No issues. Still 5 stars, be careful putting a cover on.

Installed this timer to turn my outside garage lights on and off. Lights turn on with no issues, but they stay on even when the timer reaches the "off" time. I guess the switch is stiff and does not open the circuit by itself. I have to hit the device with my finger for the lights to go off. I should have paid more attention to the reviews. It looks like this is a common theme. Also, this is not a "Honeywell" product as advertized. The listing is very misleading as Honeywell typically makes quality products and this one is not. PLEASE CORRECT THE LISTING ACCORDINGLY.

Funcionando muy bien

This is an awesome timer, adjusts much easier and better than most digital battery powered ones. The only problem was finding the wall switch plate around it. It didn't fit to regular plates and I obviously had to cut the surrounding of the spinner. I finally soled the issue by using a 2 part wall plate without the behind structure. It didn't even need screws because the plate hole could fit the rectangular base of the switch.
