We have been using this since June 2020 at the height of hay-fever season and I have not noticed any difference to using the Phillips.The filter is cleanable with a vacuum, as above photos, the first picture shows the dirty filter dust particles captured evenly throughout the filter, the second image is once it has been vacuumed.
