**Q: I hooked this system up in my boat. It works great until i turn the boat motor on. Then it cuts in and out continuously. Ideas what might be wrong**
A: I’m having the exact same problem. With te engine off it works just fine but ad soon as I turn the engine on in cuts and turns off. 

I made a completely separate cable and connection straight from the battery and the problem persists. 

I have a voltage gauge and volts go from 12.6 with the engine off to 14.4 with te engine on which is just fine.

I even changed the voltage rectifier in my engine but the problem persists. 

Its definitely a problem with the amp.

**Q: If i install this without a head unit can i control the fade and balance with the inline multi-function remote?**
A: Not as far as I know !

**Q: What is the rms of the speakers?**
A: 10

**Q: Will the unit still work from a smart phone if the remote gets lost or broken.**
A: The remote is hardwired, if you lose it will not function
