PF1800 4 Channel Car Amplifier, 1800 Watts, 2-4 Ohm

In my honest opinion, Boss Audio products are excellent and I have NEVER had an issue with ANY Boss Audio component that I've purchased. If you're looking to upgrade a factory stereo or if you're wanting to disturb your neighbors (lol) then Boss can do it, and at a price that's very reasonable. I have just installed a new system in my Silverado. It starts with the Boss Head Unit- 508UAB , then the Boss 7 band Equalizer -AVA1210. The Boss PF1800 Amp powers my Boss NX654 door speakers and my Boss P69.4C rear speakers. I have the Boss PT1000 Amp driving my 2 Boss SLR8 Dual voice coil subs. This system sounds PHENOMENAL in my truck !!! It's crystal clear at ANY volume and it puts me in the " Front Row of the concert " so to speak ! My advise is this : Regardless of what Boss System you might purchase, always use the thickest gauge wire possible for the entire system, make sure you have a VERY GOOD GROUND and follow the wiring diagrams provided with your components. I have ZERO engine noise and a system that is nothing short of AWESOME ! I highly recommend any and all Boss Audio products to everyone. From a basic system to a competition system you're going to love it and it won't cost you a fortune !

This amplifier alone drives four 350-watt Orion 6x9s and four 300-watt Alphasoniks simultaneously; the sound is better than I expected—pure Puerto Rican-style loud, clear audio. After several months—and drives lasting over an hour—it hasn't gone into protection mode or suffered any drop in sound quality. A video is coming next. BOSS definitely didn't let me down. Of course, it’s properly installed with everything it needs.

This amp sounds fantastic for its price. quality of screw fasteners is not great (one stripped when tightening power wire, but I used an oversized one to torque it in nicely. But this amp is big - really big. For my car (little BMW Z3), too big. I'm not criticizing it because of the size of my car, just taking away 1 star because it just doesn't need to be so big in general. I'd give it 4.5 stars if the threads for the screw fasteners were stronger. It is still worth the money, however!

this amp does what its supposed to do. worth the money

Working fine at first, but it seems to run hot (and I am just entering my vehicle and maybe in it for 30mins) and the protection is too sensitive. I either have the volume down on the amp itself and try to listen at a decent volume and since it's hot where I live now (summer time) I can hear my A/C over it. I turn up the volume on the amp and the protection pops on at vol lv 15, and it's not even loud. I understand there is a difference with current music and the older (back in the day) music. The recording was different, better equipment now. In other words, older music you may have to turn it up a little more. But that's not my case! I had a Rockford Fosgate that gave no probs...going back to!

I blew two amplifiers Jenson and would never buy another . This Boss is one of the best , will never buy another brand . Listen to 50s 60s 70s and soul on Cyrus and the base is perfect . It is also the most amplification on channel and can't bring it to the full setting . My suggestion , BUY IT
