Does it transfer a weird taste to the food? My old silicone pans did (various brands), wondering if they have improved!

Certainly not that I've noticed but I've only used them for unsweetened banana and rolled oat muffins. I don't know if that would change if you are using sugar and butter rich recipes. I really like them.

Are these good for baking fairy cakes in

Yes but I still use paper cases as I like my fairy cakes to be in cases. I’ve made pastry tarts in them and also cheesecakes, and everything turns out easily...tho I freeze the cheesecakes before turning them out as they’d be too soft otherwise. You also have to let things really cool before turning out. Hope that helps. I’d recommend them.

Can these be used for Yorkshire puddings

Yes should be fine for Yorkshire puddings as long as not over-filled. Just used them this past month for deep filled mince pies with good results.
