This is one of our toddlers new favorite books! It is great for learning to follow directions and different body parts while getting some energy out. I would recommend this for any active toddler.

Such a fun, interactive book! If you don’t have it, you should! So much fun!

My almost two year old granddaughter goes to day care three days per week, I purchased this book for her to donate to the school for her upcoming birthday. One of the reasons I chose From Head to Toe is it is appropriate for a variety of ages. The bold illustrations will appeal to younger children and older children; early readers and listeners will learn to name animals, body parts and how they move in a similar way for both of us. The story is interactive which is wonderful for toddlers who don't sit still and they can reinforce what they learned by acting out what they have heard! This is not one of Carle's better known books so it is usually a safe book to gift. All in all, a wonderful book. Very happy with this purchase, would recommend for children age 1 to 7. If your younger child isn't interested in it, put it away for a few months then try again.

"I am I" is not a typo, people. It's the person speaking to the parrot. My kids have loved this book for decades and I'm now buying one for my grandchild.

Cute book! I was so excited and thought my toddler would love doing the actions. Boy was I wrong. The first time I read it (and every time since) his answer to the "Can you do it?" question was a resounding "No!". Then again we are going through a "no" phase right now. I think he'll love this book after the phase is over. And think it's a very cute and interactive book for young kids. I'm knocking off a star because there is a typo (as other reviews have mentioned) - it should say "I am a parrot" but says "I am I" (pic shown). I also added some more pics of other pages.

This is such a cute book. Its been one of my kids' favorites for years. They love pretending to be animals and my one year old tries to copy his older sisters and it is the most adorable thing ever. It's a fun book to get that last little bit of energy out before sitting to read other books before bed. There are always so many laughs and giggles while reading this book.

My son loves all of these books. Perfect for little readers.

My daughter loves this book and can act out all the gestures from it. I would recommend all books by Eric Carle for infants and toddlers. The artwork is very interesting, and kids always learn something while having fun.
