Did what i wanted
Instructions were poor, best ignored and do it by trial and error

Actually really strong.
I wanted to write a review because before purchasing this I saw so many negative ones. . And for the price .. these are brilliant. If you look at the install pictures provided with the ockage it clearly shows what angle / measurements to install the struts at. Only took a little bit of working out to get right . The only down point is that the ball joint connecting the strut could be stronger .. I pressed down too hard on the strut the first time when it wasn’t lined up quite right and bent the joint . So had to straighten it back out. But it’s all installed and works great. Supports a load of weight .

Instructions not clear
Tried to follow the instructions but unclear as didn't take into account the thickness of the lid. When I fitted the first one as instructed it snapped! I had better luck with the second one and works OK but it would be better with a pair.

Very good however minimal instructions
Very sturdy just the job for our shoe chest at the bottom of the stairs. Would be helpful if it came with better instructions.

Gas to slam
I bought this item for a toy box, ok very basic instructions on a clear package. I would not think that you need a high degree of carpentry skill to attach, but the skill is in making it soft close I have not achieved this, what I have achieved is a slow gas close to then slam. I’m going to buy this product elsewhere in store where I can see it in action.

Utilisé pour un coffre à jouets un peu lourd, je suis très contente du produit, je n’ai plus a m’inquiéter pour la tête de mes enfants 😂

Schnelle Lieferung. Etwas viel Spiel des Zubehörs nach dem Einklinken. Man sollte dazuschreiben, daß man den Federring nach unten schieben kann(Schraubendreher) um das Zubehör von der Kugel ohne Kraftaufwand zu lösen!!! Erspart Bruch und verbiegen des Zubehörs!!! Habe Sie für meine hängenden Oberschrankklappen im Wohnwagen verbaut. Perfekt!
