Excellent quality big peanuts! Highly recommend!
Excellent quality peanuts. Strong package, the peanuts are extra large. After you eat these you won’t want to have other brands with smaller peanuts. The peanuts came fresh, they taste incredible. It’s worth the price. I will buy again (this is my 3rd purchase). Happy that it’s an American product, meaning it didn’t sit in some container for months. I highly recommend this brand, these peanuts are high-end. I like that it’s not too salty, just the right amount and the salt doesn’t take away from the peanut taste unlike some other cheaper alternatives do. I hope my review helps. Enjoy your peanuts.

Great taste and crunch, but Royal Oak is still ahead by a bit for vallue
Just received my first can today. I wanted to compare them with my favorite Virginia peanuts from Royal Oak I received yesterday. I had them open side by side. Feridies peanuts are saltier, but not to me objectionably so. Their flavor is as good as Royal Oak, but no better. The size of Feridies peanuts are SMALLER than the Royal Oak. Among the Royal Oak peanuts are a number that can truly be considered "extra, extra" large. I didn't find one in the Feridies can that could match that description. Of course even Costco brand makes the same claim to size and they aren't. I wonder if there actually is an official grading system for size. I doubt it. Both are crunchy but in a different way. The Royal Oak peanuts are blistered while the Feridies are not. Yet both are crunchy. Taste wise they are both the same which makes sense since they are both cooked in peanut oil. In fact many Virginia grown peanut brands are not. Others use cheap soybean oil to cook their peanuts. The heads of those companies should be taken out and shot, at least in my opinion. I give Feridies peanuts four stars while I give Royal Oak fiver stars. Why? Because Royal Oak is cheaper by a few bucks per can. 1/21/2018 I now notice that Feridies is a couple of dollars per can cheaper than Than Royal Oak. However, the latest two cans i received of the Feridies contain smaller peanuts than ever before. Yes, small nuts have a different bite than the larger ones. Well, back to Royal Oak.

NOT super extra large
These peanuts are pretty good, flavor-wise. They are crunchy and salty, and mostly not over-roasted, so I would rate them a little above average. I laughed out load when I opened the can and saw the size. On what planet would these peanuts be "super extra large", as advertised? I took a picture of a typical peanut from the can, posed with a petite pea for scale. I was expecting something close to almond size, and they are about the size of a scrawny Planter's peanut. Disappointing and overpriced.

Very good product!
These peanuts are probably the best we have ever eaten! Fresh, firm, salted perfectly and only 3 ingredients: peanuts, peanut oil and salt. I looked a long time to find peanuts that weren't roasted in some sort of seed oil like canola. Hoping the next batch I order is as good as these!

Always excellent product in every regard - but costly. Tried the Kirkland brand recently as cost is much lower but no comparison. May have to cut down on nuts, but excellent product

I was a little put off by the negative feedback on these but it couldn’t be farther from the truth. Those reviewers must have gotten bad batches. Feridies makes the best salted peanuts I have ever tasted. They are consistently crispy and fresh. No rancid nuts here. They’re very well salted and the salt coats the nuts evenly for consistent flavour. I first tried them in 2016 as part of a gift basket. I’ve been trying to track them down ever since and am really happy that Amazon offers them. That should tell you how excellent these are. The $40 price tag is absolutely worth it. They do not disappoint. I actually don’t ever want to try other brands again because it will just ruin the experience. If you’re uncertain, this is your sign. Do yourself a favor and order Feridies.

I’ve had better Virginia peanuts, however, other brands charge exorbitant, even prohibitively high, shipping rates. Best value for money Virginia peanuts you can get in Canada.
