This was one of the best gifts my toddler received! She couldnt put them down and hardly wanted to open another gift! She strung them again and loved doing it herself, she is almost 2. When she opened the gift she immediately started taking them out one by one from the ziploc bag they came in and into the outer cloth pouch to carry them in. Theyre good quality and I think will last a long play life! The colors and pictures are great and there are a good number of pieces for her to be creative with but not so many to overwhelm her toybox! I bought another set for my niece & her mom gave the same review to me!

Fun, and plenty entertaining.

I love this bead set. It has wooden sticks at the end of each string that make it easier for little fingers to thread a bead onto the string. The other end of each string has a tip (like the end of a shoelace) that allows for another practice of fine motor skills as the tip is thinner than the stick and takes a bit more concentration and skill than the wooden ends. I like that it has both types of ends as each type provides a different fine motor practice skill. The beads are beautiful. colorful, smooth, nice size hole. Each bead is another shape. Some are animals, some are foods. Having cute beads makes beading so much more enjoyable and turns a skill building activity into a really fun activity. I am really happy that I chose this set.

UPDATE: The sideways E and F letters that I received are apparently not faulty, but the seller contacted me and made good. Thanks! ORIGINAL POST: This is a nice set for the price. They are not terribly big pieces, but they work for their intended purpose, and I appreciate that they are wooden. I did tie a knot at the end of the strings so that the beads will not fall off. My biggest complaint is that the letters E and F are sideways when threaded since the hole is drilled vertically through the letter instead of horizontally. Not quite sure why they made that decision as the rest of the letters are upright when threaded, but perhaps I received a faulty batch? (Seller, I'd love a replacement if so, please!) It also seems strange that the cars are threaded vertically as well. In my opinion, it would've made more sense for them to drive horizontally onto the string, especially since the traffic light is horizontal, but regardless, the pieces work well.

My children have a terminal disease that is neurological and gives them a lifespan of up to 15 years of age. That being said this product has been amazing in their skill building and occupational learning. Great product and I’ve recommended it to several therapists and even schools in my area.

Picked up for OT for my 2 year old, and this became one of her favorite things to do. The leads on the lacing strings are a good size for her hand, and the points are dull so she won't accidentally hurt herself. The beads offer a nice variety of shapes/sizes and are interesting to look at. The storage bag keeps everything together and the bright orange is easy to spot in a messy toy area.

This is great but it is missing the letter O which is disappointing.
