At less than half the price of a comparable "mainstream" brand scanner, I wasn't expecting too much from this scanner. But it works great! It was very easy to pair with my iPad and I am using this with the Square POS app with no issues. It scans many different types of barcodes accurately including 2D barcodes (like QR codes). It will scan 1D barcodes from a further distance than it will 2D barcodes, but that's just the nature of the scanner, and even with that you still don't have to be super close. A few people have mentioned a slowness or delay in scanning. This is a setting that can be changed! The product manual is filled with control barcodes that change many settings including the "typing" speed which the scanner sends the letters/numbers to the device. The default setting was definitely slower than I would have liked, so I scanned the control barcode that said it would increase the speed, and now it's almost instantaneous it's so fast! Some devices you pair this with may need a slower setting, but I have it set to the fastest one with the iPad and have had no issues with it yet. Definitely save the product manual for these control barcodes!! There are so many settings that you can change or enable/disable, like putting it into a continuous scanning mode so you can set the scanner in the stand and just hold barcodes up to it to read without pressing a button. There's another one you can scan that will show/hide the on-screen keyboard in iOS devices.

You pay for what you get. This is not a cheap scanner! But when you get a hold of one. You will understand why it’s so expensive, just the quality is top notch. And the battery life just blew my mind. I do insane scanning on my daily workflow. Like 2000-3000 barcode scanning a day. This little scanner can go 4-5 days without a recharge. Just insane! GET IT YOU WONT REGRAT!

Do not get this product for any actual work. Disconnects within a few feet, gives feedback while registering nothing, and generally fails to read any surface. This scanner isn't worth anywhere near even the $65 asking price. Better off getting the KUIIYER ASIN B0F4CNPV2V that despite being much smaller, has a screen and a speaker you can actually hear.

This is a very well made and robust device as far as I have seen. The very important for a handheld barcode reader is sturdy build because it falls down in warehouses, which is obvious and rugged use. This one is designed with keep that in mind and working nice, I recommend this from Tera. I was also pleasantly surprised by the appearance and the quality of the product, packaging and instructions. The wireless dongle performed very well so far. The scanner works very fast and provides an audible beep or a vibration on every successful reading so it’s easy to know when you are not getting a read of a barcode.

Claims to be rated to a 9.8ft drop. We've had 2 break sliding off a countertop exactly 42.5" high, onto a rubber floor. Considering my employees cannot learn to put them back on the cradle, I'd love to find a unit that can withstand that minor drop. I'm really tired of buying a new scanner every 4 months.

Ordered these for use on my production floor. tried it out and loved them. easy to install and use. ended up buying 10 more to use. A+++ product

it worked for a whole of two days wirelessly, then stopped. Just beeps and nothing happens when you scan, it will only work if you wire it, which defeats the purpose. returning this junk.
