Love these controllers!
I love these controllers so much. Something about them feels right. Maybe even a little better than the official ones. Maybe its the smoother material, or how it feels ever so slightly bigger? I'm not sure, but I think they're on par with the original controllers. I had no issues connecting them to the console, they instantly worked. You just plug the chip, flip the power button on the controller (on the bottom) and press the analog button in the center. What I did notice is that it doesn't work for all games. I played Jaws on my PS2 but the controller didn't work at all. I thought maybe it was the disc or something since I tried everything. I had my original wired controller (albeit damaged) but I plugged it in and it worked right away. I thought I heard that some games were just like this for PS2, that you need wired/official controllers for some games for some reason. The other thing I noticed is that I don't think the controller vibrates at all. I was playing the Sims Bustin' Out, and I never knew it had a vibration setting and the setting was off by default. I turned it on and have been playing for months, but I've never once had the controller vibrate regardless of what crazy things my sims were doing. My controller did vibrate when I played Jaws, but as I mentioned earlier, I was using the official wired controller. So yeah, I don't know if it's able to vibrate, but these controllers still work great and the price is pretty good. Also the controller doesn't come with batteries, so just be aware that you need AAA batteries. If you're planning on playing your PS2 on a modern TV, I highly recommend getting an Hdmi converter. I got mine from Levelhike through Amazon. It plugs in the back of the console and then you plug your own hdmi cable into the device (I also highly recommend Zeskit Maya's 8k HDMI cable). Trust me, you won't regret it. Having my PS2 upscaled on a 4k TV is stunning. Edit: 08/16/25 So I was playing Bully the other day on the PS2 and I'm happy to confirm that the controllers do vibrate. However, it felt very subtle to me. Maybe I'm just used to how intense it can feel on the Xbox 360 or the PS5 controllers because it just felt underwhelming here. Again, I think it might be the controllers themselves. I'll try and update again if I ever find better options for controllers, or if I find original PS2 controllers in good condition to test on.

Works great-good value for money
I busted out my old PS2 to show my kid, and the old controllers didn’t work. I found this 2 pack here and they work wonderfully. The controllers need batteries and then you plug in an adapter to the play station, they work great!

These third-party PS2 controllers are fantastic! — the buttons, triggers, and joysticks
Everything works perfectly with no issues at all. The only minor drawback is that after a period of inactivity, the controller goes to sleep, requiring you to flip the switch off and on to wake it up again. It’s not a bad feature and only occurs during long in-game cutscenes. These third-party PS2 controllers feel fantastic—the buttons, triggers, and joysticks, in my opinion, are even better than the original OEM PS2 controllers. There’s no input lag or excessive sensitivity when moving the camera in any direction or controlling the character’s movements.

Its cheap and has issues
I have gone through 2 sets of these. My first set worked for 2 weeks then started messing up. Its either the should buttons or the analog sticks that mess up first. Then there's the connection issues. The controller just randomly loses connection and you have to turn the thing off and on just to get it to work again. These controllers are cheap as hell. Also for side note, if it says product is new, I should not see scratches on them right? This company expects you not to return the junk and cut your losses.

Great extra controllers 👍👍
I purchased one of these controllers off ali x last year. These seem to be a little better in quality, although I didn't have any issues with it. They sync perfectly with my ps2 slim. Haven't noticed any lag. You can also use them with a gamestick or x2 pro gamebox. Provided you purchase an adapter. They also can take a fair amount of abuse. I saw someone posted a Pic of a " broken " stick. I did the same just take the screws out and realign it. My go to is a ps4 dualshock with an 8bitdo adapter but these are great extra controllers for the price.

I WISH I WOULD HAVE FOUND THESE SOONER!!!!
Listen, I was skeptical, but I am a gamer and these looked cool. These controllers are great. I was skeptical because I was needing these for my old PS2 Slim, and pairing any newer idea with an older one sometimes doesn't work the best. I have my set up in my living room. The space between the TV and the seating area means that I had to stay hooked up to my console with the original controller. That also meant I sat on the floor while staring up at a 65" TV lol. Not ideal in the slightest. I popped in some rechargeable AAA batteries into these things, and they lit up like a dream...literally, the lights are so bright on them lol. After placing the connector (that's what I am calling it anyway) into the console itself, you can see the lights on the controller go to pair with the lights on the connector for it...which is helpful to let you know it's working. Also the connector on the console will begin to blink if the controller isn't connected to it from sitting idle or the batteries need replacing. Something else I was skeptical about was if there would be a delay while playing....NOT IN THE SLIGHTEST. It impressed me to say the least. It even has the vibration feature. I think it's cool that you can see the gears and things inside of it. I always wanted one of those clear landline phones, so I guess this makes up for that lol. Lastly, the buttons also have labels on them, so don't worry--the display pictures don't show that. Long story short, I love these controllers and wish I would have known about them sooner.

PS2 Wireless controllers
Excellent controllers for the price. They work very well and low battery consumption. Would not recommend Dollar Store batteries.
