For a while, I was looking at getting tie clips, but I never knew they would be so expensive for a single tie clip! This was worth the value. I needed to make a memoral tie clip for a funeral for my son in laws father. I'd love to take a moment and share with you Russell's passion for life and his devotion and dedication to DO SOMETHING with your time while on this Earth. Russell was a very structured man. He got up every morning 4:30-5. Had coffee. Worked out in the gym for an hour, came home and read his bible for an hour while drinking more coffee, shared breakfast with his beloved wife with more coffee and then got ready for his day at the office. (President and COO in the field of Industrial Engineering) Every Sunday morning during his devotions he would plan out what he hoped to accomplish for his coming week. Knowing "You will never live this week again". To remind him of his goals for the week, he would put a marble in his pocket. Saturday night, he would toss that marble in the trash, indicating that the week was forever gone. (Unless his wife dug it out of the trash for her own keepsake reason: Anniversary, Bday, special moments, etc) This is the marble of the week that Russell had on him when he passed unexpectedly on 5/31. My daughter asked me how we could turn it into something special for her husband to wear to the funeral. I chose this set of tie clips, just because it had the fastest delivery date. I went to the jewelry section of the craft store, made my selections and got creative. This tie clip is the final result. This marble is a very treasured item. Please be a Russell: live your life with remembrance our time is fleeting and we should always make the most of every day/week.

My hubby loses tie clips every time we travel. I was happy to find a selection of attractive clips for every color tie or suit that are strong clips. If he loses one in the future, now he has a couple of backups. He's very happy about that.
