So far so good! So hard to find a big trash can worth the price that isn't junk that makes you want to just go heck to old school plastic. Came in fast and all in one peice no dents unlike others said wich can honestly happen with anything and you can just return exchange try agian usualy shippings fualt anyway, works like charm just like in others videos. So quiet compared to my old one this one is shockingly quiet. Love the count down no longer cuaght off guard trying to scrape plates into trash before getting your hand smashed haha unlike my old ones diff type would catch ur hand in it every time. Love the stay open feature. Absolutely hated having to have 2 small trash cans in the house with this only need1 . Why they don't make more big ones like this dono we got tired of the footpeddle ones breaking nothing lasting a year. Wish though that bug trash cans would make those plasitc black inserts you could pull out with the trash take out and spray and clean of somthing exploded n leaked could clean the inside without having to get wet the entetire things and moving parts but so far only seeing that very rare option on smaller ones and rare. Hope they read this and Make it where you can buy those separate if you choose cuz I'll take a lil loss for room to clean without harming vital parts to rust. Some complain of its thin metal but I think they could be little more detailed in this explanation; there's a small medium n large thickness. I've seen plenty small as in one finger can push it in to dent. I wouldn't say this is the thickest whereudhave to realy get bad kick it to dent it, I'd say medium. So mayb agree if you got big dogs i can see them hurting it but by then you may want to stay away from anything but thick Comercial plastic if that's the issue n it's they can learn real eady to opem it get in it anyway foot pedles would be better for dog issues. Now as far as seeing many day it never lasts past 2 years, well my footpeddle ones were the same if you can find one or the other lasting longer let me kno lol. The price is worth becuase we first got a foot pedle target one only 15 gallon vs this 21 n it was more expensive then this one and cheaper made feeling we took it back it was thin metal out said good foot pedle said best there is type it was not any better then others really. So for price I think this is good well let you know how long it lasts. Even came with a set of free bags plent to not just a tiny amount to try sell their bags but plenty. Even the hubby who hated all our old hands free version even my parents 3 hands free, was die hard peddle can type cuz less to go wrong, now he's seeing they just don't make even those like they used to the target one that was more expensive then this way smaller even was no better then the 50$made ones for the footpeddle. So you have won the hubby over and that's hard once he's stuck on somthing he gets stuck and convinceing him to give it anther go few did not wanna return yet anoyher. I did not think that I could love a garbage can but here I am. This size is perfect for my kitchen. It keeps the dogs from pulling garbage out and helps to keep odors in. It is easy to wave your hand over to open lid and to flip button off if you need lid open longer. It is quiet and well built. Looks very nice.

I’m obsessed with this trash can. I love how you just have to be close and it opens. Perfect size too. The bags they provide are also such a nice add on. Definitely worth the price.

I used to own a different brand trash can of this kind for about 3 years, it started failing and I always knew I would never get back to "normal" step cans, and I also wanted to go with a different band. This seemed to have the most options when it comes to material and size, so I ordered the 21 gallons for my kitchen. Works awesome and very quiet so far, also came with a pack of 10 trash bags. The best part: It comes with the much needed bag liner ring that holds the bag in place and prevents the bag from showing. I love it so much, I ordered another one for my office, just the smaller version with 13 gallons. Update April 9th: Received the second trash can yesterday, it is the 13 gallon size, same great quality. These trash cans are really great.

I purchased this trash can for kitchen use about 6 months ago. This trash can is far too expensive for the quality that you receive. It also has some poor design qualities that causes me to not recommend it; listed below: -The lid is powered open and shut by a motion sensor/motor combo. After about 6-7 seconds the lid is supposed to close again. The lid generally powers open just fine, but about 50% of the time it only closes halfway or not at all when the time is up. This has happened since the beginning of my ownership so weak batteries are not the issue. It also has capacitive touch buttons for opening and closing which work fine most of the time. However this sort of defeats the purpose of a no-touch automatic can. -On the backside of the can about 1/4 of the length down from the lip is a port which I'm assuming is for an odor-reducing filter to be placed in. That's fine, except for that it juts 1/2 inch or so into the interior space of the can. Additionally, the lip of the can is folded over INTO the interior space of the can instead of folding outward and has a relatively sharp edge. If the trash bags are any kind of full, they get caught on the filter holder AND the lip of the can causing small tears all over the bag, front, back, and sides. If you're not careful, you'll tear the bag enough that it will rip out completely and spill junk everywhere. It also makes it difficult to remove. -The metal of the can is of very cheap construction and bends easily. If you fill a bag too full the sides of the can will bulge out and stay that way. This caused the lid to be unable to sit correctly on the top of the can. Because of the thinness and malleability of the metal, it can be bent back, but not to its original shape. -The only positive qualities of this can is its size and that it looks like nice when the lid actually closes and before it gets bent out of shape from normal use. Do not let the 4.5 star rating fool you, this can is garbage (pun intended). Take your money elsewhere if you want an automated can or just buy a step can from a reputable brand which will be much simpler and cheaper. That's what I'll be doing when it's time to replace this one.

Love the size. The quiet open is significantly better than the old trash can I had and I love that it has the support for the bag. Biggest complaint is the lids appearance. It seams blue-grey instead of grey and dsnt seam to match the rest of it. 🤔

Works like a charm, and I like how quickly it opens. But however, sometimes the lid does not go back down.

Love this garbage can. I like that the bag is hidden. The bags it comes with are really great quality as well. The lid does open sometimes when walking past but it doesn’t bother me. The kids love it. This is the cleanest can I have ever had as we have not had to touch it because it’s automated. No more food spills and sticky finger spots on the lids from my kids. They also think it’s so cool they showed their friends. It’s a bit pricy but you get what you pay for.
