Excellent long-term results, healthy growth and fruiting
I wanted to leave a long-term update because this dragon fruit plant has done very well for me. It established quickly, grew strong, and I was able to get fruit this year, which I’m very happy about. I noticed some reviews mentioning rot, but in my experience that comes down to overwatering and poor drainage, not the quality of the plant. Dragon fruit are cactus and absolutely need fast-draining soil and careful watering. I planted mine in well-draining soil and avoided excess water, and I had zero issues with rot. The plant itself was healthy from the start and clearly capable of thriving when grown correctly. I’m very satisfied with the purchase and would recommend this seller.

Great cuttings
Very healthy cuttings. Wrapped for cold weather and that saved them. I will give further updates on how well they are doing with time. I have been wanting to try these cuttings since dragon fruit is so healthy for you.

Grows well if you do it right.
Brought the clipping about 2 years ago did well but only got one fruit after trail and error. I would like to know the variety it says self pollination but flowering multiple times this year. Just wondering if any additional information is available.

Healthy and growing!
I received 2 cuttings on November 10th, 2023. On January 5th I have a 2 inch growth on 1 cutting and a nub growth starting on the second cutting. The cuttings arrived clean and healthy. All I did was wait a few days after their arrival to make sure that they were scared over and then planted them. I live in the tropics so I used a large planter and lined it with potting soil and where the cuttings were planted I used cactus medium. Easy peasy growing when you get healthy cuttings like this. I look forward to getting dragon fruit, hopefully next year! UPDATE: Cactus bloomed 6 months after planting. I was away for the summer and was unable to water it. I returned to about 6 buds that whithered and fell off. I figured I had to wait another year. But in September it grew another bud and the other day it opened and was ENORMOUS. Sorry, I should have taken a picture. Hoping to get this fruit to maturity. If I do, I will certainly update and add a picture. UPDATE: Sept 2025 These are definitely NOT SELF POLLINATING I've learned a few things about dragon fruit since purchasing these. I will say this variety is an insane grower. Ive had to prune it back many times in the last 2 years. I've had a multitude of gorgeous, enormous flowers and no fruit. I have just hand pollinated the last blooms about 4 days ago and am taking a wait and see attitude. The reason I say these are definitely not self pollinating is the structure of the stamen and stigma. The stigma, the part that receives pollen, is so far out beyond the stamen, the part that the pollen is on, by 2+ inches. There is no way for this flower to self pollinate. If anyone gets these to produce fruit please post that yours bore fruit. I don't need to keep these as just pollinators so I'll give these a little more time and if the don't produce they're getting chopped for fertilizer.

GREATLY DISAPPOINTED!!!
Ordered 2 cuttings September 26th, got them October 2nd with a bonus. I am grateful!!! 2 rooted within 2 weeks on the heat mat, one is still trying to grasp the concept of rooting (smile). I recently potted the 2 with lots of roots, waiting patiently to see some growth. So far, I am pleased with the company sending an extra cutting, hope it survive. Will update you all with pictures as soon as I see new growth. Today is December 10th. I tried !!! I followed tips and instructions but.....Please help me with the one still in the soil, it is not looking healthy, it has not grown any more root in the soil and some of what it had grown seems to have rotted off. Heat mat, grow lights and good draining soil used. It is yellowing/ dying. PLEASE HELP!.........No reply after 3 request for information / explanation why the cuttings rooted then rotted and died. GREATLY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS COMPANY CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Thay grew fast
Both of them grew perfectly one took at least 2 weeks longer then the other one to route I think it was just a different maturities of branches that caused the delay

Very small and thin
Came in loose soil sitting in a loose baggie already rooted, very skinny growing off tiny bits of dragon stem,(not 10 inches) biggest one was broken. Advertisement looks like a single large thick MATURE stem that ide be rooting myself. I feel as if they are too small to grow an entire plant off of, since the base will not grow anymore, and this is supposed to be the structure of the entire plant and is tiny. I might have to let a mature branch grow then cut it off, root it and start all over with that one as the base. Im a lil disappointed. Others seem to have gotten it the way advertised so it could just be my bad luck lol anyway they look healthy-ish (few bug holes) and they came 5 days early, so that's nice i guess.. Good luck!

Slow to start.
Growth was incredibly slow for the first year while it established roots. A rooting hormone to help it along forgot brand but just dipped it in powder and stuck it in the dirt. Now have many starts and have even been taking cuttings to give out to friends and family since i havent gotten aound to getting a large enough pot to set a support up like the epic gardening guy has. This was definitly a solid buy though, i was skeptical at first with all the shadey scammers from china online lately selling fake plants but these were not only well prepared for shipping and packaged with insturctions their actually quite hardy and dont require a lot of attention once they get established. We bring ours in for fall and winter and give them partial shade outside during summer and its turned out ok so far. I dont expect to get fruit anytime soon since i keep cutting them back but id definitly buy more if needed and see if they sell other varieties.
