Great little gadget and value.
Using primarily with my Lenovo C930 and Seagate Backup Plus Slim - and it works perfectly, just as it’s supposed to. The Lenovo only has one USB-A port, so I needed something that would allow me to use both my wireless mouse and hard drive simultaneously. This connects easily and firmly on both ends, with no drops in connection and the added bonus of adding a bit of length to the very-short Seagate cord. Would definitely buy again.

Plug and play, however, YMMV
My old Sandisk Cruzer was recognized, but the phone kept wanting to reformat it so that was a bust. Thankfully, my newer USB 3.0 128 GB worked flawlessly. As per the headline, I did come across an issue but it was solved immediately via google and Samsungs site. I am on an S9. You need to use an app called Smart Switch, which oddly enough, is a built in feature on the phone, but isn't actually on the phone. You have to download it first, THEN you can backup anything. Just look up "backup s9 usb drive smart switch". As if the data transfer ability wasnt nifty enough, you can plugin any game controller to use with emulators. You can even use a USB hub for multiple controllers. Worked flawlessly. Its amazing how many devices work immediately via plug n play on an s9.

Perfect alternative adapter for tablets/smartphones with cases
I have had tablet and phone cases from Spigen/Supcase/Otterbox that make it hard to fit the square shaped Type-C to USB adapters in, and this one is a better alternative workaround for those cases. Worked perfectly right out of the packaging. Tablet wise, since upgrading to my current Samsung Tab A from my old Samsung tablet a couple of years ago, the old stock micro USB to USB dongle adapter won't work with it anymore. This one is similar to the one I just mentioned, just with the much needed Type-C. Plug the type-C end into the phone/tablet first, then the USB print cable or flash drive and it gets recognized instantly.

just as seen on images
nice product, quality is good and when a disc is connected it directly showed up in my ipad pro's device list. I had trouble before with some other brands that I purchased here. the USB-C end of it has some tooth inside of its connector (apple version don't have that) therefore it is a bit hard to push it thru usb-c port of my ipad pro, it also concerns me if I am somehow damaging the port or not..

Tight space hero!
My daughter just purchased a MacBook Air 2020 which she loves, with the exception of the connectors. It has only two very closely spaced USB-C slots. I had previously purchased two two packs (one for my daughter and one for myself) of the mini USB-C to USB 3.0 Adapters to connect the Logitech wireless mouse I had purchased for her. That worked out very well. I have since bought her a lifetime version of Microsoft Office with a DVD installation. Since the New MacBook Air does not have a DVD drive just as my MacBook Air 2017 does not, I decided that I will use my standalone CD/DVD drive to download the software. Problem: The new MacBook Air cannot accommodate two mini USB-C to USB 3.0 Adapters at the same time due to the fact that the two USB-C slots are so close to each other. Solution: I purchased the nonda USB-C to USB-3.0 Adapter with attached cable and this solved the problem. Now my daughter will be able to attach two USB 3.0 devices at a time to her MacBook Air 2020 unless she needs one slot to charge her MacBook. I have found all of my nonda adapter purchases to be a good solution to our connection problems at a reasonable price. Thank you nonda!

Works as Advertised
I bought this in order to be able to use USB devices with my Samsung Note 9. So far, it's worked very well and none of the devices I've used have failed to perform. For the most part I use this to transfer files between my phone and my ereader, and it consistently works for that. I've also used it to transfer files between USB drives and external hard drives and it's worked for that as well.

Handy little adapter
I bought this to use with my HP Envy x360 laptop which had only 2 regular USB ports and 1 USB-C port. I don't currently have any other products that use USB-C so that was going to be a "wasted port" for me. But I came across this adapter and now I have an extra regular USB port to use if I need it. This was an excellent deal compared to the price at the store. The only thing I wished was that instead of plastic, it was made of aluminum. I purchased the black one because I figured it would hide dirt better than the white one especially because the flexible part in the middle is a rubbery material. I also opted for this design because I didn't want to block my other ports if I had purchased the more compact adapter. I would recommend this product.

Weird
That's weird but sometimes it works, sometimes - not. Connect device - not working, unplug and rotate USB C - doesn't work, rotate plug again - working! And this is not because it is not plugged properly. Update: I've received a replacement. So I got a defective device but support sent me a replacement and it is working fine.

This adapter is working well for me, it seems strong yet flexible. It has enabled me to utilize my USB type C ports on my laptop. Recommend this if you have usb type A devices and USB type C ports on your computer device.

Took a leap of faith in the hopes that I could connect an Android phone to a Brother printer via hardwired usb connection, and success! Does require an app from the PlayStore, then just select usb printing, follow the prompts, and you'll be good to go. Hard to believe that of the 2200+ reviewers, no one could give me that answer when I posed that question. Now that's sad! If your wireless printer cannot connect to your home network router and you want to try hardwiring before spending hundreds on a new printer, grab an OTG cable such as this and try that first. Fit my connection and needs and I'm thrilled!! If this review answered your question or you found it useful, please consider clicking the helpful button.

I haven’t used it long enough to give a full and in-depth review but I will say- so far so good, it does the job! Just wish Apple would’ve supplied one as they know they don’t have the “old school” USB ports.
