and it looks so much better than expected
UPDATE 2/24/2018 - Props to Hasbro for updating the pic to reflect the current color scheme. Leaving my original review intact but I bumped it up to 5 stars. It really just completes my Stryfe. ORIGINAL REVIEW: So I got this for my Stryfe, and it looks so much better than expected! Now keep in mind, this is not gonna help you aim at all. Nerf guns are, by design, super inaccurate. Different darts and modifications to the guns can help, but you can only do so much. So really any scope or sight is purely decorative. But man, this sight looks great. My only gripe, and the only reason I'm giving this a 4-star rating is because the product photos show a green stripe where mine has orange. If Hasbro updates that I'll bump it up to 5. I'm really glad I didn't order paint. (Also put this thing on a Reflex or another small pistol with a tactical rail - it's hilarious.)

Coolest Nerf rail accessory you can buy
Probably the coolest Nerf accessory out there. The biggest surprise is that its actually zeroed in for at least 10 feet. Unlike other accessories, this does not wobble a whole lot and stays pretty solid at the top of a Stryfe or a Rayven.

Cheesy, but a fun accessory- worth the few dollars
This is so cheesy but my son loves it. The light is not very strong and it is not sturdy at all, but he likes it and it has lasted through some tough battles.

Meh.
I didn't read the reviews when I bought this (duh, I know better!) and was a little disappointed to learn that the laser doesn't actually project -- it's just a light INSIDE the housing. My ex-military husband said "Of course it doesn't project, dork, or the enemy would know they were being targeted and jump out of the way." Well okay -- fair enough. But the clear plastic that you look through is also a little cloudy/foggy. Usually I'm pretty happy with Nerf-brand quality, but this one just seems sort of cheap overall.

Great reflex sight!
I bought 3 of these to go on our RotoFurys. We all love them! The kids like having an optic on the gun, and I have definitely improved my hit % with this. The dot is not fixed like a red dot, it floats like a reflex - makes for super quick target acquisition when running around outside!

Cool addition to your Nerf gun!
Bought this as a cool addition to a Nerf Zombie Strike Doominator. Mounting was simple and straight forward. It lives up to adding some cool factor to an already cool Nerf gun. Most bad reviews seem to mistake a Red Dot sight with a Laser Sight? A Red Dot sight is just that a Red Dot in the sight to use for aiming your gun to a target. While a Laser Sight emits a Laser light on to your target. At least this is my understanding after some searching.

It isn't a laser pointer like you'd expect
Battery on this thing lasts forever. It really helps out at night. It isn't a laser pointer like you'd expect, so it should be advertised as red light as opposed to red dot sight. But it's really cool and the kid loves it.

Great Sight 👍
It's a good sight but if your looking for a red dot that attaches to your target... this is not it. This sight shows you where to align your gun horizontally. If you're a steady aim then you'll shoot your target 3 out of 5 times.
