Great box! Super magnets!! I purchased three boxes (this and two MiniMags - The “2” and the Plus Extra Large) and tested for adhesion and water entry. All had 2 great magnets but the clear winner is this Gorilla Box. Then I placed all three boxes in a deep sauté pan and filled pan with water over the top of the boxes and left them for two days. The magnets held them under - all three were actually tough to get off the bottom of the pan. Opened the boxes and the Gorilla was completely dry. Check photo. The two MiniMag’s had a thimble each of water. This was not a scientific test but... I’m buying the Gorilla’s for my project. I have no idea how either brand will perform at 70mph in driving rain, but... again. Anyway, these were all nice boxes - sturdy as hell and the magnets on all three impressed. The Gorilla is roughly the same size and price as the MiniMag 2 - if you toss out the foam both should fit two sets of keys (2ea - key and separate fob). Certainly would fit a couple of key/fob combos and a large Tile (BT locator). If more space is needed you need the Plus Extra Large for $40ish. However there is nothing “jumbo” or “extra large” about it - it won’t fit a cell phone. A flip phone sure, but I’m a bit hard pressed to come up with a main stream application that the $20 guys can’t handle. Good luck.

Older Vehicle. Drives a little bumpy. AND you CAN lock your keys inside because I already did it. In fact, I locked both sets inside so had to call a service to come and get my keys out. This Gorilla Box is solid. It is tough. The Gorilla reputation that encourages me to buy Gorilla when the product I need MUST perform the way I need it. The magnets are STRONG. REALLY strong. I am confident they can handle the bumps and potholes and uneven pavement better than my old bones can. Stuff happens while on the road or out boondocking. The case snaps tight with double latches. My primary key is long (and an actual key). It fits with room to spare. No regrets with this purchase and having access to a spare key is one stressful event I can eliminate with this unit.

1.5 years ago, I put this bad boy under my car with a spare key. I forgot about it until today when I locked my keys in my car at work. I can’t believe it is still attached and intact. It survived to freezing cold and snowy winters. I would give it six stars if I could!

Haven’t used yet, but this thing is over built. Very hard plastic, very strong magnetic, even rubber O ring style seals. This would be great for truckers or heavy equipment operators. Hiding a spare key just in case & waterproof. Will be using as soon as I get a spare key made & probably buy a few more for my equipment in case I lose the keys.

The size measurement depiction is a little deceiving. I needed the standard size box to fit in a space with a 2" x 2" x 4" size limitation. The size pic shows a dimension of 2" x 3.62". The 2" measurement appears to be the width (although not stated), which would fit my needs. Once received, I was able to measure the standard box and determine that it's 2" tall (not 2" wide). The standard box is roughly 3.62" Long x 2" Tall x 3" Wide. This will not work for me as I had hoped. Not sure if I will return it, or find a different place to store it. As far as quality is concerned - it appears to be fairly sturdy with strong magnets. But as others have shown, I expect the magnets and the metal in the hinge to rust. It seems just "OK" for the price - not necessarily outstanding. Therefor 4 stars.

Don’t hesitate to buy this little sucker!! it has plenty of space for keys and even a large key fob, it seals air tight nothing is getting in this thing and the magnets are ridiculously strong. You find a good hiding spot and stick this thing on it. It’s not going anywhere. Great product.

Has to be the best magnetic key box made. 2 rare earth magnets, only kind any good in temp extremes, plus the waterproof case, has handled mud, ice, snow and flood. Takes a good grip to disengage, it will always be where you left it. Roomy enough for several keys and cash. Back to buy another.

I wanted a way to hide a key in two of my vehicles with pretty large keyless entry FOB keys, I know some people have worried about the keyless entry feature, just pop the battery/batteries out of your key and put them in the box, easy leash, while it’s often times a bit challenging to open the key and remove the battery to replace it’s putting a key back together is pretty easy. This is the XL box and I put an AirTag in there because this vehicle doesn’t have remote tracking. Everything fits with no problem and the magnets are big and really strong I actually put the AirTag under the foam, but it all fit with room to spare, keeping the foam in there is not necessary but since it all fit I figured I would just keep it.

Very pleased. Very watertight and magnets are very strong. I spryed the box with car black paint so it mathes the underside of my car.
