OXO Good Grips Stronghold Suction Sponge Holder

An honest review as I've had this piece for 5 yrs.now. I have an old metal sink. 97% of the time it is suctioned on and doesn't move. But yes here and there it slips off. Usually when I am doing really heavy cleaning of large pots and pans that keep bumping it, when the whole sink needs cleaning well as embarrassing enough, sometimes a full deep scrubbing occurs once a month. (Or longer...don't judge) Or when the sink is getting hit with oils from PTSD and pans often. But again it falling off is usually the reminder, I don't know, TO CLEAN! So I clean everything well, toss it in the dishwasher, dry up the sink area and once it is out, I resuction it back on. That is it. It is small but sturdy and 5 yrs later it is still used daily in my kitchen sink. I toss out sponges faster than I need to reattach it. I definitely got my monies worth. I did have those plastic no pressure suction ones prior, and those really do fall off daily. This one uses a pressure lever for the added attachment like a needy toddler always sticking around.

Excellent product. Very happy with my purchase. It stays put. Be careful where you put it when you first install it because it's hard to move afterwards.

You get what you pay for. This product by OXO is definitely worth the money. Its well made, very durable. Very pleased with this product or primarily most of the OXO products as opposed to the cheaper knock off brands.

This is a very well made and sturdy sink caddy. I use it to hold my kitchen sink sponge. I love the look of it, and the suction is strong — it can even be hard to remove because the suction is so strong. (My video shows how strong the suction is.) I knocked one star off because less than a month after installation, I came home to find that it had fallen off into the sink. I had followed the instructions carefully during installation, so that was a bit annoying. But it was easy to put it back where I wanted it. Overall, I would recommend.

Love it. Wanted to get the ugly sponge off the counter. Bought a pretty hand and dish soap set and hit this in sink holder for the sponge. I have it in the inside front of my sink so you don’t see it unless you’re standing over the sink. It attaches perfectly to my granite sink. Be sure you understand it suctions on by being placed against the sink wall then clamping down the tab to create max suction. Then you put the actual holder part on. The holder has drain openings so no musty sponge. Great purchase.

This my favorite sponge holder. It’s easy to attach to the sink and holds are regular sponge. I attached mine closest to where you’d stand, if you’re at the sink. When I installed it, I made sure the sink wall was dry. Lots of positives: 1. If you position it right, you can’t see the sponge holder until you get close to the sink. Which I like when you have guests and the sponge isn’t in plain view. 2. It’s durable/substantial, made of thick plastic and has a strong suction cup. 3. It does what it’s supposed to do, holds a sponge and keeps it off the bottom of the sink, which allows it to dry. 4. The drainage holes are big enough to let water through 5. It’s easy to clean 6. I like how it looks 7. It stays put and doesn’t slide down 8. You can remove the one piece so that if you have a big pan the holder won’t get in the way. 9. Longevity wise, we just replaced our old one from 5 years ago. It still worked, but wanted something that looked newer. This is a great value.

Pretty happy with this sponge holder, I bought it for the scrub daddy’s and the fit perfectly. The suction cup it’s quite strong and stays put for quite long. In general I’ve always had a good experience with Oxo products.

This thing stays so well and is so cute and sturdy and then out of NO WHERE about once a month it will just fly off of my refrigerator. I’m not sure why it has this fit every month but otherwise it’s a very good sponge holder. Not sure I would re-buy, I’m a bit conflicted on its durability. Also, it is a bit annoying to re-attach to surfaces (you have to remove the holder part so you can get to the suction part, kind of hard to explain). It’s decent.

Niestety, produkt nie przylega do mojego zlewu kamiennego. Próbowałam kilka razy, ale bez rezultatu. W moim przypadku okazał się nieprzydatny.

Au top, Super pratique et facile à placer. La ventouse fonctionne à merveille. Je recommande !

El mejor de los que he probado. El sistema de ventosa con "clic" va genial, no se cae por mucho que se moje. Lo tengo en el fregadero desde hace ya un mes y estoy muy contenta. El tamaño es perfecto para el típico estropajo "salvauñas".

Très contente de l'article commandé 3 fois (tout le monde veut mon support éponge). Attention néanmoins qu'il n'adhère pas très bien sur les éviers en résine. Evier inox nickel et sur carrelage aussi ! Colis et livraison ok.

We just loved this product. Cleaned off the inside of sink and clamped the suction cup to the sink. It stays where we put it until we need to take it down for sink cleaning.
