Samsung Has Issues
If your into thawing the ice maker literally every month (or more) and dealing with the absolute worst customer service in the world WHILE trying to get them to fix a known issue be my guest. Otherwise move on to something else - LG or Maytag. Take 5 minutes to look up the information (recalls, service bulletins, etc...) before you do this. Samsung refrigerators are without a doubt the worst when it comes to the ice makers AND their cooling system.

Paint peels, horrible warranty from Samsung. Must be adjusted through the internet
We've owned this refer unit now for 4 years. Mechanically- no issues, !!!!Aesthetics- about 4-5 months after delivery, the side paint started pealing and showing blots where the paint did not stick. It became blotchy. I spent hours, I literally mean HOURS on the phone. It started with Lowes (I'll never buy appliances from them again and NEVER believe their statement that the warranty covers everything.. IT DOESN'T!!), then transferred the warranty department (located in Panama) then transferred to the warranty insurance company (out of the Philippines), then to Samsung Company customer satisfaction, THEN transferred to their Samsung complaint department.... In the end... sorry, we don't cover ANYTHING AESTHETICS! Mechanically, fine. ****** If you are NOT technically inclined with phone software, DON'T GEZT THIS! EVERYTHING must be done on your phone or over the internet.
