Again, real talk real thoughts and real reviews always if you like me and you think you can do stuff and you really can’t this makes it to where you can. It’s like cheating it’s easy I didn’t know about oxidation and all that crap and this makes it so easy literally, you can tan a pencil or anything. It makes soldering super easy and it’s just great stuff. Man saved me and made me look smart to my wife, so if you really can’t, so there, are you getting clumpy clumps of solder in your wasting a lot trying to retain your tips. This stuff is the best ever.

my tips was the worst in the history of soldering.. but after a couple uses of this they have silver ends once more or tinned as they would say.. only issue 20g is a bit small would get 40g if available or get x2 but no need x2 20g will do its job. its a must have for solder iron. was on budget so got this one was easy to use.. money well spent for sure

I honestly don't know why I have been soldering without using this. Tip tinner is a total game changer when it comes to soldering. I was struggling figuring out how to re-solder some mouse switches onto a PCB and kept having issues getting the solder to transfer to the pad properly. It also took a century to heat up the pad. I watched a few videos on soldering and this was suggested in one of the videos. I thought hey it's cheap why not give it a try and MAN DOES THIS STUFF WORK! It almost instantly helped the pad take heat from the iron and gave me a perfect solder with flux on the first try, and I am not even good at soldering. It was so much easier to use than trying to finagle the solder wire onto the tip and having it drip or splash everywhere. I originally thought I fried a PCB trying to transfer heat for too long onto the pad and this makes it a 1 second operation. Here is some tl;dr- Pros: - Easy to use - Can tin your tip with one hand while holding something - Works like a charm and shines the soldering tip perfectly - More than enough product for projects. You only use a little bit on the tip of the iron. - Great price for amount you get - Small tin easy to fit in soldering kit Cons: - Maybe the tin is a little hard to open sometimes? - A little bit of dust fell out when opening the tin, but easily cleanable.

I grabbed this tip tinner after my soldering iron tips started looking burnt and not holding solder, and it honestly made them feel like new again. I just heated the iron, dipped the tip into the tin a couple times, and you can actually see it clean, shine up, and start taking solder smoothly again. For someone like me who uses soldering for electronics and small repairs, this saves money because I’m not constantly buying new tips or fighting with bad joints. The container is small enough to keep right next to my station, and you barely use any each time, so it should last a long while. If you do any kind of soldering at home or in the garage, this is an easy upgrade that makes your work cleaner and way less frustrating.

I can’t believe I didn’t know about this product sooner. I have been dabbling with soldering for the past couple of months working on vintage audio equipment. I watched every soldering YouTube video known to man trying to figure out what I was doing wrong. I stumbled onto this product and immediately my soldering improved. The Tip Tinner comes in a really nice screw down case and fits really nicely on my compact work g space. I’m excited to see how much further I can go with this hobby. My only regret is that I didn’t find Tip Tinner sooner, it would have saved a few mother boards.

Brought a tip back to life before my very eyes. It took quite a long time, this tip really was in need of some love. But it worked! And I've been buying new tips whenever they stopped sticking to the solder. Now I know I can use this to freshen them up occasionally and even bring one back to life if needed.

I'm not great at soldering by any means but after some point I was simply unable to solder anymore due to oxidised tip (as it turned out). The solder was falling off the iron and I simply couldn't heat up the FPV drone ESC or FC soldering pads. It took several minutes (which is a lot) and I ended up heating up the whole board instead of just soldering pads. I used wet sponge method, copper wool and nothing helped. Then I got this tip cleaner and BOOM! Simply one dab into the cleaner and I'm back in business! The solder flows perfectly, iron heats up components in seconds and the soldering joints are nice, round and shiny. Really a gamechanger! Now I'm looking for more stuff to solder at least as a practice :) amazing product really. I rarely write reviews but this stuff is brilliant. I though this was worth sharing. Saved me from thinking that I needed to replace my soldering iron tips!

Cumple su función correctamente, que es mantener la punta del cautin o soldador funcional. Si no tienes una pasta como esta para limpiar la punta del soldador, la punta se pone negra y ya no se adhiere el estaño, ni calienta correctamente, lo que hace imposible la soldadura. Buen producto para mantener las puntas del soldador utilizables por mucho tiempo.
