Do they stay in place, and comfortably?? For a nursing home person, do not want to lose them

They stay in place and I use when we go to appointments, but not at home. The strap took skin off when we used exclusively. At home we use a rolled up wash rag.

Can i put the palm grip in the microwave?

I am not sure how the inner foam material would react to microwave heat.

Is this just 1 hand roll?

Yes, just a simple handroll that is cushioned. Easy to get on/off. I used with a client who had a stroke and contractures in her hand. It keep her palm dry and fingers/fingernails off the palm to promote skin integrity.

How do you know what size to order?

I ordered the small size only because it is for a 90 y/o female (with contractions)..since she has a smaller grip. Her thumb can touch the tip of her forefinger with the small. Otherwise , I don't know how to choose a size. I'm curious to know if the larger size is wider, instead of just having more fill inside/rounder.
