Good product sturdy and durable for working in a fast pace production environment

EXTREMELY high quality and durable. I bought two, and threw one under the car tire to run over a couple times. Just a bit of scuffing and a small dent, but the clip for the belt didn't even seriously deform. I'm ninety percent sure that if I was caught in a disaster, this key clip would be the last part of me to be destroyed. The loopy clip is also metal, and durable-feeling though I haven't stress-tested it. Overall, a great improvement over my last 'heavy duty' plastic one.

Since returning my other badge holders, I’ve been using this badge holder daily for several weeks now, and I couldn’t be more impressed. So much so, I gave the other badge holder to my paramedic partner. The durability is outstanding, it holds up to constant use without any issues like, binding, or losing its spring. The thickness is perfect, sturdy enough to protect my ID, but not bulky or heavy and still allows the rf to be read. Whether I’m clipping it to my shirt or keeping it in my bag, it stays secure and looks professional. I love that it’s easy to slide cards in and out without them falling out unexpectedly. For something I rely on every day, this has truly proven to be a smart purchase. Highly recommend to anyone who needs a reliable badge holder, definitely a great value for money!

Quality is good; strong. But it snaps-back too strongly, making it difficult to use attached keys. Plus, the ring for clipping onto a belt loop rotates; it's not fixed. So it is cumbersome to unclip it, first having to find where to push in to release. I've had others with this component being "fixed", so it is simple to find and release the whole thing to take it off.

Other similar badge holders would get loose and my keys and badge would start to drag. That doesn’t happen with this one!

Wanted to get a high quality retractable badge holder, but this was not only slighty larger than the normal plastic one I was hoping to replace, but the retraction is clearly meant for things with more weight. Trying to use it as a badge holder nearly took the clip off when pulling badge. it would be better suited to things that have more weight to offset the resistance. No stars deducted as its definitely quality, just not what i was hoping for.

I thought all I needed was a reel in a strong case, with a reliable cord. I was wrong. I wear a 1-1/4" wide, thick nylon Tactical Belt. And the clip on this reel seems to be strong steel, with a powerful grip. But even a minor bump and it comes right off. The reel has detached several times a day, and when it does and I'm in the woods or even a store, I'll be in big trouble. I'm not sure how to correct this, but I'm starting with ordering some Belt Loops that require my belt to be threaded through them. Then I need to attach the reel to the loop. Maybe a D-Ring.

Great quality clips, good durability

I had one with a metal cord before and it broke almost instantly. This one I have for months now, use it almost daily and it works great. And if you have it sideways, the sign looks like the logo of The Verge A recommendation from me it is.
