Been using the 5" pair for a few months now and wow I've had little to no complaints about them. I have mine up against a concrete apartment wall and so at a flat EQ they were a little bassy, but having the ability to select a less bass EQ preset on each totally fixed the imbalance and now it's set up very nicely for my room. The clarity and staging these have is great for the price and I would recommend these to anyone else looking for speakers in this price range. I have mine being driven from a balanced headphone amp and haven't had any issue since the speakers are internally individually amplified as well. I set the speaker level to what is comfortable given where I like my amp volume at and haven't touched the speaker volume on the back since. Overall, I love these things

These motors are of excellent quality, for the price it is a product with which you can do work at a professional level. I have produced several pieces of music and it is wonderful to work with them. They can be equalized to adapt to the room you are working in and that is incredible. 100% recommended.

I have never heard music before the way I’m hearing it now. I’m a solid musician and amateur composer who has been dabbling with Logic and VSL for some time. I decided I needed to upgrade to studio monitors and I really am completely astounded by the sound of these. I can hear exactly where the musicians are sitting in their seats and I’m even moved more emotionally by hearing things in this way. I suppose it’s like somebody getting glasses at age 50 and never really knew what the world looked like. All that to say, don’t hesitate.

bass end seems louder/heavier than the last pair of (klipsch) speakers i had - and they had a separate sub woofer! overall the sound is strong and clear. getting the adjustment from the back will take you some time. but, once it's right - it's nice. they work very well for a small or medium-sized room. seems like these are built to last. i chose to add the grill replacement face cone covers. easy removal/installation. just hope the magnets hold on for a long time ...

These monitors from what I heard today are very tight, what I mean by that is, they have a nice punch to them, and sound very solid. I'm sure after a while, they'll start to sound different, but if you don't go to crazy with them, these can be a pair of monitors you can use for years to come if you take care of them. I would advise you to pick up a copy of these three albums, to test the sound and the quality, and also until you train your ears, you can use these as very good references in helping you become a better engineer. (Dr. Dre - The Chronic/ Micheal Jackson - Thriller/ and for that super live sound, go with Prince - Purple Rain the original 1984 version, NOT the remastered version). Use those as a reference, in my opinion, those are the best sounding albums ever recorded to date.

Son unas excelentes bocinas, tanto en un escritorio, escuchando de cerca, como para una habitacion pequeña o mediana escuchando de lejos. Incluso sin equalizacion producen un sonido neutral y con mucho detalle. Pueden reproducir a altos volumenes aprox 90-94dB SPL antes que se empiecen a distorcionar. La entrada diferenciales de audio evita muchos problemas de tierra, sobre todo con otros equipos de audio. El único punto negativo es que el equalizador integrado es bastante inutil, se pueden escojer 25 perfiles predeterminados, pero no se pueden modificar los parametros de los filtros como tal. Para corregir una resonancia de una habitacion por ejemplo, se necesita un equalizador externo. Aún asi son una excelente opcion, sobre todo considerando el precio y que son amplificadas.

Suitable for a small home studio…I use it with my XDJ-XZ for mixing at home…does the job very well…bought this product after a lot of research and it is worth the money…Buy the size as per you room…
