I’ve been using this luggage scale for several years and it still works perfectly. It’s simple, accurate, and really useful when traveling. Honestly, it’s one of those small things that just keeps doing its job without any issues.

I have only needed this a few times. Usually when I fly domestically I take only a carry on and a personal item, and those things are rarely weighed. But some European airlines allow only one personal item, with a weight limit. And an Asian airline has a weight limit for carry on bags (and weighs them). When I have needed this scale it has been invaluable. Its measurement hasn't let me down. It weighs in kilograms or pounds, holds the weight reading, and tares. I really like the way the strap to connect to luggage works. It is quick, easy, and secure so I can use both hands to lift. I would buy this again and recommend it to others.

Exactly what I ordered and what I wanted

From a materials standpoint, this little scale seems to made of quality materials and surprisingly well put together. I noted several design shortcomings which I'll list from least to most important for my purposes: 1) A little short coupled for my large hands. 2) I didn't buy this to read the temperature but noted that it reads five degrees F low at room temperature (sloppy calibration, though accuracy at 30 lbs in the weight mode is very good). 3) The LCD is recessed about 1/4 inch below a small, clear window. The viewing angle for best contrast seems to be set for about 30 degrees below perpendicular to the plane of the display. Because of the small size of the clear window and the depth of the recess, when best contrast viewing from below the bottom of the digits is cut off. The picture clearly shows this effect, though doesn't accurately depict the aspect ratio of the scale. 4) The unit requires a steady "hold" of the suspended object before it will lock the number into the display. It seemed to take a long time to satisfy this requirement, especially when weighing an object in the 70 lb range. Without the weight locking in, the readout returns to zero when the object is set down. The frustrating combination of trying to suspend a large, full propane bottle (liquid sloshing) steady enough to get a lock on the weight, plus trying to view the display from a 30 degree down angle resulting in the bottom of the digits being cut off was well, for lack of a better word, frustrating. As a footnote, the scale seemed to work well for my 20lb propane bottles, which means I was able to hold them steady enough to satisfy the "brains" of the device that it had a good reading. The point is, these issues could have been designed around, but weren't. So the bottom line is, for my application (which admittedly is more difficult than weighing luggage), the scale is only marginally useful. But for the money ($9.99 when purchased) and given the fact that it is useful at all, it rates four stars.

Easy to use, SO accurate, was going on a trip With 8 luggage, all 8 were accurately weighed under the 50lb limit and so I had no issues at all at the airport which was so nice. Might be difficult for someone who cannot life the weight of of the luggage as with this style that could be a little awkward but that isn’t a design flaw as it’s part of how it works, I give this a 10/10. Slim, light weight, easy to store and works fast and efficiently

Easy to use and simple.

Loved these! Got one for myself and one for a friend who travels a lot! I also used it to weigh my clothing on hangers before placing them on closet rods to ensure the rods don't have too much weight on them. Definitely something to have around the house. Never know when it may come in handy! Easy to read screen, easy to use. Comes with batteries included.
