Triple Eight Sweatsaver Liner Skateboarding Helmet, Rasta Yellow Rubber, Small

I love this helmet because, unlike other helmets, it is easier to find the right size. My 3 year old has a very large head, not fitting into any "toddler" or "child" helmets but adult helmets are too big. The different sizes of this helmet made it so that I could find just the right fit for him. Further, the helmet is recommended as a very safe helmet for high impact, along with use for skating or biking so it is very versatile. Also, I love that the bright yellow color lets pedestrians and motorists see him coming right away when he rides his scooter down the sidewalk/crosses the street; I view this as an additional safety feature.

My son loves this helmet. It fits snug and is soft. However, I was very disappointed when it arrived and the tag stated it was for skate use only. I specifically chose it because it was supposed to be dual-use. I looked up dua- use helmets and this one came up on the list. My son wanted to keep it, though, so I will continue to search for another one which is dual-use.

Triple 8 is a must helmet for active grams! This is our 3rd one to purchase. The Brainsaver padding is fantastic for 3 reasons: it gives a comfortable, snug fit, it is by far the best padding in a helmet that I have seen and great for protection, and the sweat guard. We live in hot Texas and in the summer this type of sweat absorbancy is on point! You can take them out to wash. I put them in a pillow case and wash and dry them.

The round sponge inside the helmet is thick and soft. It can absorb the impact on a fall on the head. The other comment is price. It is rather expensive. I bought a small size for my neice. She is very happy with it. She feel it comfortable on her head. But it cannot be fit on my head. Can anyone let me know where I can buy only the internal protective sponge but not the helmet. I struggled to find a helmet that fit well on my kids. Someone gave us one for my daughter and now it's the only kind that I will buy. I love that it provides full coverage so it works for all of our activities, but it's also comfortable so my kids don't fight me when I put it on. I like that it isn't covered in characters, that means that they will be willing to wear it for as long as it fits, and won't want something new because the design is for a little child.

Awesome awesome fit! These fit much better than other helmets that tended to slide back and forth over out kids heads no matter how tight we made them. The helmet liner is makes the fit even better and keeps the sweat out of the eyes.

This helmet is perfect for our 3 year old daughter. She loves it, it keeps her safe and she is easy to find in a crowd

Helmet is bright and colorful fits great and looks even better...it is my daughters first derby helmet and the protection is priceless..
