Head over heels in her devotion to the Joker, Arkham psychiatrist Harleen Quinzel gave up her career (and her sanity) to transform herself into the ultimate companion for crimeโs clown prince - the mad moll Harley Quinn. Of course, Harleyโs romance with the Joker hasnโt been easy. The two are at each other throats as often as in each otherโs arms, and that buzzkill Batman is always sticking his nose in just when things are starting to get fun. But what great love story is without the occasional incarceration and life-threatening peril? The Jokerโs main squeeze takes center stage in these stories from top creators Paul Dini, Yvel Guichet, Don Dramer, Joe Quinones, Neil Googe and more! Collects stories from: BATMAN: HARLEY QUINN #1, BATMAN: GOTHAM KNIGHTS #14, #30, DETECTIVE COMICS #831, #837, JOKERโS ASYLUM II: HARLEY QUINN #1, BATMAN: BLACK AND WHITE #1, #3, LEGENDS OF THE DARK KNIGHT 100-PAGE SUPER SPECTACULAR #1 and DETECTIVE COMICS #23.2. Review: Fun. Good background before you see Suicide Squad - Wanted to read this before Suicide Squad. Love Paul Dini. Never heard of Harley Quinn always thinking it was Harlequin. A bizarre story worth experiencing reminiscent of 60's psychiatrists entering the world of their patient in order to know them and possibly heal them. Thomas Szasz and R.D. Laing come to mind. "reality is nothing but socially shared hallucinations." Review: A beautiful collection of classic Harley- A must have!!! - I have read and re-read this so many countless times, I absolutely love it! My favorite Harley Quinn collection in many different styles, all add such depth to this comic book character that we have grown to love and cheer for. While so many are fascinated with the duality psyche of Batman and the Joker, there is something deeper simmering in once psychiatrist Dr. Harleen Quinzel. Did love drive her mad, or did her madness drive her to love? I am always enthralled in all of her retellings and journeys, but I find it imperative to revisit the classics. Paul Dini, thank you for the creation of this amazing character, her meaning goes well beyond the TV screen and pages. The comic book is beautiful, the pages are great quality and the colors are as deep and diverse as the character herself. Well done! Thanks you again!!!

Best place to start and great cover art.
If your into Harley Quinn then this is a must read and the best starting point. This is where her charming insanity began and the cover art is fantastic. Art pops off the pages and is brilliantly colored throughout. There are Appearances by Bats, Joker,Riddler, Penguin,Poison Ivy and more. Really enjoyed this one.

A plethora of harley stories
A great book with several different stories about harley. i think my favorite one is where her and ivy make a bet. wasn't overly fond of the last story included, as i'm not really a fan of her new 52 suicide squad personality (i do enjoy her solo series though). overall it's a very nice book with several stories centered on harley. And it does have a table of contents that also tell which comic that story was originally in.

Let's be honest with each other. If you consider yourself a fan of Harley Quinn, you should probably own this. If you're unsure and just want to learn more about the crazed former psychiatrist, this is a great start. It's like a snapshot into some of her best story lines to give you a taste of what you have in store if you join us in this fandom.
