This product didn’t change the feel or look of the shoes at all! Moreover, I purchased this protectant due to claims of clear application, durability, and safe use on fragile textiles. So far all claims are TRUE, as I was able to apply 3 coats to my silk shoes as well, with no residue marks left behind (see attached photo).
