TOUCH 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide Acne Gel for Face & Body, 8 oz

Have mild acne.Took a months worth of unflavored bovine collagan I and III.Huge mistake.Huge,ugly cystic acne chin, forehead,cheeks,nose.Stopped the collagan for at least three weeks,changed face wash and moisturizer -still new cystic welts. 'Touch' had immediate results. And within a few short days they are shrinking and clearing away. Under a week and almost gone. I live in Florida so humidity and sunshine.So my face did feel slightly tight or stingy-but minor.And I used a oil free moisturizer and non comedic sunscreen.Once started to clear,I swapped from a entire face thin coat to spot treatment only.Highly recommend.And a lot of product for a small $.Drug store products can't touch this product.

Review Update - May 2021 Buying my second tube. First tube lasted approximately 18 months, with x1 daily application. Continues to be effective for me. I noticed packaging is new. Hopefully formula is the same. Noticed it is also expensive by $1-2 from 2019. Original Review: December 2019 I've had adult-onset cystic acne for 10++ years, often triggered by fluctuating hormones and certain food groups (dairy). For a while, what has been really effective were monthly visits to my asthetician for a deep pore clean (extractions and peel) and daily Maca Root supplements (one specific brand only). While I'm still on that routine, this new discovery has proven to be as effective (if not more) and waaay cheaper. My expectations were pretty low coming in, but after about 3 months of use now, I am definitely blown away by this product. First month of use I did twice/day right away knowing that, yes, it will irritate my skin. It was strong and harsh. It stung and dried my skin. But I know my skin well enough to say that while it is super sensitive, it is also very resilient. It dried my skin, with mild-moderate redness as well. It was itchy on some days and slightly irritated. It was like this for a few weeks. Sometimes I took a day or two of rest from the product or used it once per day. But I used it regularly. Despite all the "side effects" of initial use, my pores were tight, skin was smooth and large cystic acne decreased significantly. After that initial month, as expected, my skin got used to it. Flash forward to now, it's been 3 months and my face does not dry or sting at all (it's still quite cold out here like December). It does not turn red after use, nor do I get that stinging itch after use. My cystic acne is near non-existent. I still get the ocassional hormonal breakouts around my neck and jawline but much reduced in size, redness and amount. You know a product is simple, strong and effective when it does not have any fragrance, the ingredients list is short, the color is paper-white and consistency is thick. That's what this is. Straightforward, no frills, industrial grade acne treatment that works. I've never truly been this happy with my skin. At the same time, I know that at one point it will stop being as effective and my skin will become immune to its effects. That just how my skin is. But until then, I will be enjoying this product and the others from this brand which I intend to try. Best way to work with hormonal cystic acne is, never give up, continue to adapt, and just love what you have.

Happy to have found a 2.5% benzo peroxide gel and it’s such a good price. I’m a regular user of 10% and I find that it’s very drying for my face. I’ve struggled with cystic chin, acne for years, and it really does help as long as I am religious about using it. I love that it’s a big tube but it is a little bit cumbersome for me so I bought some 2 ounce squeeze bottles to keep it in and just refill as needed. Happy with my purchase.

Okay so im going to give a run down of my skin history. And maybe someone might have the same situation and this review might help them decide if this is for them or not. I have hormonal cystic acne. Ive dealt with it for 3 years after i got off birth control. In the last year it calmed down a little. But i do get constant cystic acne. Since its cystic i get big bumps that sit under layers of skin that dont form to white heads for days sometimes weeks. Because of it sitting under layers of my skin nothing i use helps with my skin. Since using this. It does help with my cystic acne. Sometimes there red and ill put on and it wont be red anymore or it does take it down a half size. I am happy with the amount i got for the price. I use it almost everyday and i use it at night. Ive been using for a month now. And im not mad at my results and will keep using.

Just buy it!!!! This product is truly the best one I have ever used. It made my face clear and balance. I have very sensitive skin and this didn’t irritate my skin. I found this product while researching a replacement for the Acne. org BP treatment, which I had used for over 10 years until they changed the formula. The new acne.org new version broke me out and left my skin very dry and irritated. I am so glad I gave this new product a try! I never write a review on anything I buy here but this one is perfect and deserves a praise! Please don’t ever change the ingredients.

I am so relieved I found this product. I used Paula’s Choice benzoyl peroxide cream/gel religiously and they recently stopped making it which has been a huge problem for me. I’ve been on the search trying to find something I liked as much, so far I had been let down, until I came upon this product!! I like this product way more! It has less ingredients and doesn’t have acrylates in it and works just as well! No unpleasant parfum or odor, has the gel-ish texture I like and it dries well although I prefer to use a fan or handheld fan to help it dry especially if I’m sweating at all.

Product works great, not a fan of how the price has increased 25% in 2 years. All while Dr. Song's Benzoyl Peroxide sold on Amazon which is the exact same product has remained at $21.00. They are made by the same company that makes Touch.

A little background info: I had suffered from adult acne for around ten years. I had cystic acne all over my face, which left many scars. I hated how I looked. My skin is very oily all the time. In the winter, it also gets dry, which makes my face even more oily. I tried other products with salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide, and they either did not work, or were too drying. I was on Accutane for a time, and it worked, but the acne came back after I got off it. I thought I was going to have to have cystic acne for the rest of my life. My regimen: I used Replenix 5% Acne Wash, a hyaluronic serum, a niacinamide serum, and this the Touch cream. I started with Replenix, added the Touch cream a week later, and then the serums a few weeks after that. It's better to test any skincare product for a bit before adding new ones to see what is effective, and to see which products react badly with your own skin. I am also aware of the purging period when using some of these products. Your face may look worse off for a month or two before it gets better. Don't stop early until you know for sure that it works or not. I washed my face twice a day. Adjust based on your personal needs. The results after 3 months: After staying with this regimen, I had barely any new breakouts. I had maybe one or two every two weeks, and they were small, and did not hurt. They didn't leave huge scars, and the scars did not take as long to vanish as before. I didn't notice a strong scent, and I did not have any negative reactions to this cream. The cream went on easy, and absorbed clear and quick. It will stain your clothes or towels if it gets on them, but if you're careful, it shouldn't be an issue. Use an old towel to wash your face. You don't need a lot of cream to cover your whole face, and typically a tube lasted a few months After over two years of using the Touch cream, I may get a small pimple once a month. My face is still oily, which is probably hereditary, but my acne is basically gone! My scars have more or less vanished, and I get complimented on having clear skin more than I can count. I always keep 3-4 tubes at home, because sometimes Amazon and the manufacturer's site is out of stock, sometimes for months at a time. So stock up so that you aren't stressed when it's unavailable to buy. Hopefully, this cream works as good for you as it did for me! Completely life-changing!
