I bought this for when my second child started crawling around and we had a Hallway with a corner wall and a slightly angled corner. It was a fantastic fit! Looks like it should have come initially in the baby gate, with how well it looked. Well worth the money, and it has outlasted the baby gate itself. With the peace of mind, I would repurchase it. Easy to install, and looks nice!

Excellent! Very sturdy and secure. Fit my banister perfectly and hasn't budged even with our big dog jumping up and testing the strength.

This made attaching my gate to my staircase, side of the stairs, much easier and more secure

We use this adapter to attach a baby gate at the bottom of our steps with a wrought iron railing. Installation was easy, it looks nice, and it works exactly as needed. Would definitely buy again.

This review is for the 10mm version which fit perfectly with my Safety 1st baby gate. We had our gate positioned at the top of our staircase but due to the flat portion of our bannister posts being uneven where the pressure points needed a flat surface to press against , the gate sat high leaving the bar by your feet to be about 3-4inches off the top step creating a hazardous situation. I came across these replacement parts and only actually needed one for my set up. Right off the bat I could tell the gate was much sturdier. We used 4 zip ties on the corners before as we felt the gate would slide out from the baby pushing on it, but thanks to the Y shape now, it gives it a little more tighter feeling. This was a much more cost effective, but still safe, option for our gate.

We have a very curious puppy, who loves to explore things with his mouth, living in our house. Since I appreciate all of my items in their current state and not gnawed on by puppy teeth we needed to find a way to keep him on the main floor where we could have eyes on him. Unfortunately we had a rounded newell on our staircase which I thought ruled out baby gates. On a whim I checked on Amazon, where all great things come from, and found these handy tools to solve my problem! I will say it takes a little bit of messing with and reading the directions but these have held up beautifully for the last month in keeping our little explorer out of the upstairs living space. The gate is now nice and sturdy and does exactly what it means to with the help of these awesome add ons.

We struggled to find a gate that was wide enough and secure enough to be placed at the top and bottom of our stairs. Instead of ugly bits of wood/DIY adaptions, these screws are perfect. They also fit nicely on spindles too. I don't usually leave reviews unless something is very good or very bad. These are very good and i would definitely buy them again

These Y-spindle rods were exactly what I needed for my baby gate on the stairs. Easy to install, very sturdy, and fit perfectly with my pressure-mounted gate. Great quality and does the job well!
