Best Proraso Cream!!
Best of the Proraso creams!! Fragrance is mild, pleasant and doesn’t linger. Nice mild menthol kick. Slick and protective. Excellent value!!

GREAT product (assuming you DON'T use a disposable throw away razor with it)
This is perfect for the guy wanting to step up a little bit from his Barbasol/Edge, Walgreens/CVS, grocery store shaving foam haul... Great performance, smooth finish and the protective layer after the shave is there. Recommend this cream! One caveat, for the performance you expect from this slightly higher price point, pair it with a quality double-edged safety razor or a foldable straight edge... using a disposable with this is akin to hooking your blue-ray player (Proraso shave cream) to a vintage Magnavox CRT television set (cheap plastic disposable 5 blade razor). With a disposable razor, you will not realize the value and performance of this cream and are better served using the aforementioned shave foam.

Pretty Good
I went back to wet shaving (from a Braun electric razor) early this year. After 30 years of shaving almost every day with the electric, I retired and now only shave 2-3 times a week. Electric just didn't work for that. After a few months with seveal different multiblade razors, I wasn't satisfied. In July, a started using a DE razor. For reference I use a Viking with the slightly longer handle. After a few weeks of shaving, getting my technique down and testing several popular blades, I have settled on, and regularly use Feather blades. I have used the standard Proraso tube, as well as this one, Cremo, and Taylor of Old Bond Steet St. James collection in a tub. I have come to prefer the Taylor. I still give this 5 stars overall. If there were 1/2 stars, I might take 1/2 off, but only COMPARATIVELY to the Taylor (maybe fairer to say Taylor would get a 5+). This creme has a very nice fresh smell and is supposed to be easier on the skin. I am not sure I see any difference from the regular Proraso Cream. It lathers well with a brush and lubricates reasonbly well. But the lather doesn't last well. I find that by the time I finish one side of my face the remaining lather nas thinned out and dried some and I have to constantly re-lather. But that is not a huge deal. The TOB lather lasts much longer, and lubricates better in my opinion. For tube cream users I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this. I really like the Proraso products and use their aftershave and a couple of their colognes regularly now.

Good product, but some supplies may be old
Overall a good product, but I think there might be quality control issues. I've ordered this twice. The first tube was great. The lather is decent and the scent is okay. The cream in the second tube seemed like it was old. There appeared to be some separation with parts of the cream being more liquid. The shave was less consistent than with the first tube. Still, I managed to get through most of the tube fine.

Great Product
Very good product. Makes for a smooth shave. Easy to apply and rinse. The razor glides right through with no drag at all. I get a very close shave with this.

Great stuff
It’s great if you use a bowl and brush. I like to mix the red puck with a quarter size dab of the green tube, mixed in a bowl.

The Italians know how to make a great shaving product
Proraso was recommended to me about four years ago and with good reason. They have a long Italian history of making a fabulous shaving cream. I have been used to using their original menthol cream and soap which gave me that good morning wake-up refreshment that I needed without drying my skin. I saw this variant and thought I would give it a try. It is formulated for sensitive skin containing aloe vera and vitamin E. Inconsistent true form using a smaller amount, say the size of a small almond, and a badger brush gave a rich creamy thick lather that was not foamy or too thin. It spread really nicely on the skin. There is very little, I would even say no sent, to the cream which is a stark contrast to its original formula which could make your eyes water. In true proraso form my razor glided effortlessly with no harshness or burning/irritation at any time. Post-shave my skin was left feeling smooth and moisturised unlike many other shaving creams I have tried. I did not feel the need to using Alum bar either. I would highly recommend the shaving cream for a comfortable shave especially if you want something with very little aroma.
