Great product and compact ,it hot me out of a hole with an Apple related issue , but l did save a lot of data in conjunction with the new drive and an application l had to purchase.

I think I bought this just before storage prices went up, so for me it was decently priced. The size is great, the noise level is very low, and I can’t hear it when it’s running. It connects without any issues and has been reliable so far. The only small downside is that the cable could be a bit longer. Other than that, I’ve had no problems with it.

The drive didn't work when connected to my PC. After multiple unsuccessful attempts, I swapped the supplied cable with one I already had. It works! There doesn't seem to be a way to contact the seller to get a replacement cable. Drive is good. Cable didn't work. Glad I had an alternative.

Great value for 1TB of storage, certainly compared to paying what Apple wanted for a 1TB HD on my Mac mini which I wasn’t prepared to pay so I’m happy to have this external TB Drive as a cost effective option and it’s plenty fast enough for me and also it’s perfect for Time Machine backups.

I've purchased 3 of these 4TB external hardrives over the past 12 months and they are proving to be reliable. The only thing I'm not so keen on is the plastic casing. Previous to this I've purchased 3 of the "Business Grey" 4TB seagate external hardrives. Which you would think to be the same internal drive but with a nicer outer casing with an aluminium casing on the top. These are more expensive! and not as reliable as the cheaper black plastic casing above. So I will always order the cheaper 4TB as from now. All 3 of my "Business Grey" drives always have "error" messages when 1st playing a movie on the "Sumvision Cycline Micro 2+ 4K media player? Without fail, but after the 1st error message the files play OK. I don't have this problem with these cheaper black casing 4TB hardrives. Avoid the nicer looking, more expensive "Business Grey" drives and I would highly recommend these drives instead as they seem to be more reliable and not as sensitive.

Amazing disk drive but a small cable. makes no noise and connects to every computer. i’ve had it for 2 years now with no issues.

It uses a specific wire for this unit. If you lose it, you’ll have to do some research to find the exact replacement. It’s not as universal as I would have liked. Overall, it gives us peace of mind knowing our baby’s photos and videos are backed up safely. For a family looking for a simple, reliable storage solution, this is a great option.

Seems like an excellent product. No issues starting up and transfers really fast. I got a protective rubber wrap around for it as it seems quite light and probably doesn't' have a lot of protective shielding.

Does the job . Nothing fancy . Just the way I like it
