The very best journal you can buy
I have finally found the perfect journal, I am so happy!! It arrived very quickly in a high quality gift box, which I hadn’t expected, giving it a touch of luxury from the start. I opened the box and removed the tissue paper surrounding the journal. The journal itself is absolutely lovely...the highest quality, and properly thick ivory paper which my fountain pen loves. The ink does not bleed through or feather out. The dots are very faint, which I love - I only want them for a guide, and for me, heavy dark dots would ruin the look of a page. It has a thick elastic pen-holder, an elastic band to hold it shut, and 2 ribbon page markers. The pages are numbered and there is an index at the front. At the back is a small folder. The cover is hard, but very soft to the touch. I am so happy to have found this company, and am just about to order another one! Highly recommended.

My second journal - Beautiful.
This is my second Scribble and Dot journal and I am so impressed with the quality . I am using this for a "sort-of" bullet journal for work, so mainly note taking and task planning with ballpoint pens, fineliners, highlighters etc. The pages are crisp and thick enough that you don't see writing from the other side of the page. The binding is excellent and the cover art is beautiful. The journal also arrived wrapped in tissue paper inside a lovely gift box, so it definitely felt like I received a little gift from myself!

Beautifully tactile
This is a beautiful journal book to handle. I love the koala bear logo printed finely in gold too. The pages are nice and thick which will suit my needs with watercolour painting. However, I only give 4 stars as the bullet dots are faint and I am struggling to see them. But, I am happy with the price and consider it a worthwhile purchase.

A top quality creative journal
I bought this as I was looking for a new bullet journal for 2020. I've previously used other brands with thinner paper and found the bleed to be annoying and limiting in terms of what pens I could use. I found this and decided to go with it due to the 160gm paper. It's proven to be a great choice. There is some limited buckling and bleed when using watercolour pens (a complete no-go with other journals with thinner papers), and practically zero bleed with fineliners. The paper is satisfyingly thick and has a lovely smooth feel whilst still providing enough resistance to ink and gel pens. Numbered pages, a bullet code page, index pages and some pen test pages at the back make this a fantastic choice for a creative bullet journaller. The page count is limited a bit due to the thicker paper, but I view this as a good excuse to buy another of these high-quality journals when I fill this one up! Scribble & Dot, you have yourself a new convert.

Durable, NO bleeding, Suitable for fountain pens.
The only thing which was a problem was that the pen holder came out, and i had to glue it back in. Twice. But I dont buy journals for that. I want decent paper, and having them stitched in such that they wont fall out is the main thing. The paper is so thick that i've been able to paste in extra, like a scrapbook. I use it largely for bullet journaling my music practice, and so have cut out bits of sheet music and pasted them in, to no adverse effect at all. A veritable workhorse of a journal. Would buy again but I notice at the time of writing they're out of stock. Would rather have a plain one, without the koala on the front. Whats that all about? I'm a bloke. We don't need that. But that doesn't detract from the 5 stars for the sheer quality of the workmanship.

Excellent quality bullet journal for arty types
Gorgeous thick paper, excellent for markers and paint. The dot grid is quite faint but honestly, this adds to the appeal of the finished page. The cover is really pretty, there are two ribbon page markers and in the back there are pen testing pages which are excellent for checking what effect you're going to end up with before using something on your actual spreads. There's a handy index page in the front and the journal comes really nicely presented in a box.

Great journal that tolerates a lot of pens and paints
This is the first time I am trying bullet journaling and I bought this journal on the strength of the reviews and the fact that the paper is thick - and it's made by a UK company. This is a really well made journal with great features that make it a joy to work with. It has 2 ribbons, a key for bullet codes and colour coding and an index. The pen test pages are very useful too. I ended up testing most of my art supplies. The thick pages tolerate most pens and paints without bleeding through. I would avoid Sharpies, Lumicolour pens and any type of alcohol markers though. I am mostly using brush pens, ball point pen, fountain pen and watercolour pencils & painta and Graphitint paints. Only slight downside is that 160 pages won't probably be enough for 1 year as I also add lots of lists to it, not just a diary section. Well I guess I will just buy another one. Oh and it's nicely packaged.
