Q: what's the difference between the 650 and the 665?

Color. Some under-worked designer concluded that black buttons on a black body are better visible, and a black remote in a dark room is easier to find. 665 connects more devices than 650 - 10 vs 8, a feature not important for many people.

Q: Does this work with fire tv cube 4K?

This item does not support the Fire TV cube. You must get a Logitech Harmony remote that has a "Harmony Hub" connected with it. Since this remote only works with IR (infrared) devices, you are not able to use it with your Fire TV device, nor Alexa.

Q: Every time we try to use ours it runs through the 1st time use script. how can we disable that?

Re-sync didn’t work for mine, nor did wiping it clean and re-adding the devices. I ended up having to buy a new one.

Q: is this controller programmable like the 650 when it comes to things like turning multiple devices on and off with a single button?
