I set the color by using a white vinegar and warm water soak, first. Of course, after using dishcloths, I wash with a tiny bit of chlorine bleach to kill germs, so it probably will fade a little.

The info given by Scragglefy IG is unfortunately incorrect. 24/7 cotton yarn is made by Lion Brand, not Red Heart. I use 24/7 all the time for making pot holders, hot pads, trivets, table runners, etc. Anything that will be subjected to a hot pan must be made from cotton or wool as anything with synthetic content will melt.
