Used to soften leather walking boots. Worked well.

It had a very light smell when I've applied it but it went away later. The most important it protected well my leather in the rain.

I got this to revitalise a kangaroo leather hat. It has left it supple and fresh-looking, although with a slightly darker, more matt appearance. Unlike some other reviewers, I didn't find it especially smelly once it had dried. It was a challenge to get into the tin though: I had to use a knife blade to prise open the metal seal under the cap.

I love this stuff. Brilliant for treating dry leathers and restoring the supple feel. It's easy to use. Only need to use a paint brush to apply to leather clothing. A little goes a long way so it's value for money

The Neatsfoot oil is being used on all our walking boots and shoes. A little goes a long way so it's really economical as well as being effective. It softens the leather and waterproofs it. I am delighted with this product

This product does not give your walking boots a shine, it does keep out the water. I apply it with a soft paintbrush and when it is dry apply another coat, up to yet this has kept out rain and puddles. I tend to apply another couple of coats after a couple of weeks. If you want shiny boots use boot polish like I used to do, if you want dry feet the use Neetsfoot Oil. I think that 2 litres will last me years as you really don't need to put loads on.
