OAuth 2 in Action

This is the clearest book and description on OAuth2, examples are javascript but used as psuedo code which clearly explain coding to programmers. For example the section on introspection explained how to use it, when to use, why to use and when I wouldn't necessarily use it. I've not found any other source that covers all this together.

Useful reading if you intend making the best out of AWS Cognito and other auth providers as the principles apply. I read it in conjunction with doing a Udemy course on OAuth2 as I find this stuff hard to get my head around due to it being so boring/dry.

This book is just OK, it is very wordy in places and I found that I had to concentrate hard to decipher what the authors were trying to say. Not sure I would recommend it because it's not up to the standard that I usually expect from a Manning publication.

What can I say, the take-away was great, everything was explained to high level of detail and one could follow along with actually coding their own stuff.

The book is very well written, full of details and with comprehensive examples. Even if I code on Asp Net Core 2, sometimes using Identity server 4, I learn so much from this book and I appreciated nodejs/javascript examples. Thanks again to the authors.

Excelente libro, explicaciones claras y concisas, proporciona un conocimiento bastante amplio sobre qué es y cómo funciona OAuth.

That's a good book. It starts with the general description of the protocol, for many people it would be enough to read just first 2-3 chapters to find what they need. However, if you want to go deeper, implement all parts of OAuth 2.0 stack, extend it, build something on top of it - next chapters will help you to do it. I enjoyed this book, definitely recommend.
