Cats love it
Three ways to use. A suction cup for a window or glossy wall. A wall mount, or the stand. Takes 3 hours to charge and allows for three hours of play. Bought one fore my mom and grandma. They have indoor cats and outdoor cats that come inside sometimes. All of the cats played with it for an hour and a half straight. Even their cat with neurological problems was playing with it and she never plays with anything. When you press the button once, it will go for 5 minutes and then shut off, but it's motion activated so it'll start up again. Press the button a second time and it's in active mode. It will continue until you press the button a third time to turn it off or until it dies and needs recharged. We use the stand for it because the charging cable go through it to charge. But it would be easy to recharge if you use either of the other mounts by simply lifting it up off of them and then plugging it in. It's been knocked off 0f the table twice so we moved it to the floor. It seems very durable though and hasn't had any problems with functioning. I already ordered a second one for me to keep at home.

Very Good Product - Keeps cat happy.
This motion activated cat toy worked well for my cat. The zig-zag pattern worked well to keep my cat's attention. It also stops in one spot and stays still for a brief moment which further peaks my cat's interest. I could not use the suction or screws where I wanted to mount it but the tape they give you works very well since the item is very light. I also believe that if you want to keep the laser on all day you would need to mount it somewhere where you could leave it plugged in. If you do leave it plugged in the ears on the product will stay light up. Blinking red when charging and changing colors when it is not. The only thing that I would like to improve on the product is that there is a noise that is made when the products is first turned on or when it is turned on by the motion detection. I would like to have the option to turn this noise off. The noise is good if the cat is in another room or another area and you want to get the cat's attention that the laser is on and to come play. However, if you leave it on all day and it is in a well traveled area of your house, you will hear that noise a lot.

Nice Product. My cats didn't enjoy it.
This review isn't because I didn't like it. Pros: It's stylish looking and fun. I love the look of it. Very durable, my cats knocked it from 6 feet and no damage. Light is bright and works well. Cons: One con: during part of the light's travel it points almost straight ahead, going up on the wall, That might be fun for some cats, but my cats would lose sight of it. Wish it could be adjusted. I also feel some cats would enjoy it more if you could make tight circles, or a set play area. My cats didn't seem to enjoy it, but that is NO fault of the item. My cats just aren't the type to care about laser dots. Most cats love them. I'm keeping it just for something for them to look at and give them a "home" feeling while I'm at work. (something moving around they know I got for them.) Not a bad item, love the look.

Pet Droid is so much fun!
I've had this for about a month and a half. My 2, one year old cats enjoy it, a lot! They've become accustomed to the beeping when it turns on, and come running from the other rooms when they hear it activate. It has a set pattern of side to side, near to far movement, that covers about a 5 foot by 8 foot area. I use the suction cup, positioned 4-5' from the floor. The movement does stop momentarily. That's went they pounce! Then the chase is on again. I have to turn it off manually, or they'd play with it constantly. It does tend to overstimulate them after a while. Still haven't figured out definitively what the colored lights on the "ears" are for, if anything. I have noticed that they both seem to stay solid red until it completely goes dark and stops working. That's the only way I know that it needs to be charged. There is no indicator of battery life, nor does it indicate when it is fully charged. The lights blink during charging. The charging port itself could use a better design. It's difficult to plug in and causes concern that I'll break it. All things considered, I'm very happy that I purchased this.

1 Month and Dead
Has the potential to be a good product but does not last at all. PROS - Suction mount allows flexibility - Plugin option removes the concern of battery drainage - Motion detection (but also see the cons on this) - Compact size CONS - Who the hell at this company thought it was a good idea to put a speaker in this thing with an un-necessary high pitch squeal going off at unnecessary amount of times before it starts to work. HORRIBLE DESIGN IDEA. One beep, maybe two, lower pitch even, but this thing is TERRIBLE - Please reduce the zone for motion sensitivity. Considering the recommended height suggested, the motion sensor extends and activates long beyond the range of the actual laser and it it too sensitive - Durability: This was used in the evenings in a room to keep my cats active on something constructive at night. The learned that motion sets it off and enjoyed it greatly. My wife and I enjoyed the fact that if they got wrestles at night, this was working to kill some of that energy. It did a GREAT job at that. Our 2 cats love this thing. HOWEVER, over one month, it seized up. Motor no longer turns and you can hear it grinding away as it tries to move around. LOOK FOR SOMETHING WITH MORE DURABILITY.

Great cat laser
of all the toys we have tried for our 4 year old male cat that we got from a shelter. This is the one he plays with. We got the balls with catnip and talk, the robotic mice (he watched it but did not attack it), the things on the strings and poles but none made him move . Then this came in. He loves to play with it at night right before we go to sleep and in the morning. During the day it comes on and he will walk by it and not giving it a second look. But when he is in the mood for play he attacks it. Running , jumping and trying to get it. The laser is a basic zip zag pattern that stops randomly. There is two speed modes as well. The second faster speed seems to be his favorite. The first slower speed he will lay down and wait for the laser to get him before he attacks it. The mounting options are nice . We used a picture hanger so can take it down easy. The video is the first day we got it and the slower speed .

Best one yet!!
I bought a different laser cat toy a couple of months ago that was only about $20. It was okay. My husky dog liked it for awhile but then figured out it just goes in circles so he stopped chasing it. He still liked it to be on, but he wasn’t as active with it. It finally stopped working so I had to find another one. My dog has literally been moping because the dot won’t turn on. I just pulled this one out of the box and it’s already 10 times better. The dot does not go in circles. It’s a much more erratic pattern and he is completely engaged and chasing it! Happy fur kid, happy mom!! I like that I can move it to where ever. We take it camping so this one will be great that I can suction to a window or hang it from a cupboard. I’m anxious to see this one working on our trailer. Anyway, totally worth the money spent so far (thumbs up)!! And it’s completely quiet!! The other one we could hear the motor in it running. This one is silent.

Broken on arrival - Updated: still works, cat loves it
Arrived broken. There's something rattling inside the cage and there's no way for me to open it to find out what it is and fix it myself. It seems to be getting stuck in some limited motion. That said, it works well enough to entertain my cat - just at a much shorter range than I wished for. I got this one to path him between my living room and bedroom for a good run, which it could do if there didn't appear to be something wrong with the motor. The motion sensor works well, even picks up on him so it will turn on when I'm not home to keep h entertained - my main goal for this one. The light up ears are cute and it makes a count down noise when it's activated. That could get annoying if you are trying to rest, but I can see how it would be a trained audio cue for kitty play time which is also nice. Updated 4/16/2020 -- I'm boosting the rating up to 4 stars now as I'm finding that my cat really loves this toy. I set it to motion activated and during the COVID quarantine here, I'm seeing him use it every day and he really seems to enjoy it. It needs daily charging this way, but it doesn't take terribly long to do so. I'm not sure what changed; I'm wondering if the gears were just slightly off-track when I first got it and a few uses maybe put it all back in order... but, I haven't had any issues with the motion of the motor since the first couple of days. I'm super glad to have this toy now, especially since my cat is super needy when I'm working from home. :P
