I LOVE this for our steel fabrication shop. Often, especially in the winter, there is a horrible haze of greasy welding smoke that just hangs in the air and is absolutely disgusting to breathe in. This thing clears it up in a matter of minutes. It works really well for paint fumes too, though I would not put it in an actual paint booth because of overspray. The filters that come with it are really high quality. I am impressed with how long they last, but that of course, depends on what's in the air. Though replacement filters are a little pricey, your lungs are absolutely worth it! I love changing the filters and seeing with my own eyes all the cr@p that is not going into my lungs. I ordered in washable filters for the outer filter and cut them down to size since it is a really odd, very specific size. So far that seems like it could be an ok way to go too, but I like to keep the disposable ones on hand to ensure there's never any downtime. It is also really nice that you do not need tools to change the filters. As far as noise, I would definitely not have this thing in my office or in my house. It is way too noisy and would be overkill for a small area. For a shop setting that is already quite loud and where everyone should be wearing ear protection anyway, it is no big deal at all. It is also nice that you can crank it up really high or turn it down. Even on low, it is still fairly loud, but ignorable after a while. It is heavy and a little awkward to move for me to move around on its own, but I think for the vast majority of men they would have zero issue moving it wherever they need to. We put ours on a cart so we can wheel it wherever it needs to be.

Great machine, its work better thee expected

this blower stopped working after one week of use and it was already past the return window. We purchased it on February 15, and the return window was March 30th, it stopped working early April. This is pretty frustrating since this is the second AIoair Air Scrubber we purchased thinking we got a defective one the first time around, but no, ALOAIR is just making a cheap product they're selling for a price as if it's a quality product.

We're doing a lot of work around the house and dust is a problem. I was surprised at the amount of airflow, so point the clean air away from the debris. At the lowest setting, it doesn't require you to speak up in the room. I bought a second set of filters, so if wildfire smoke is a problem this summer - we're protected.

We have 2 of these units and they are absolutely fantastic. The move A LOT of air and are very, very well built. We used them to remediate some mold in the crawlspace of our new construction home that got wet during framing and they did great! We had just one issue with one of them where a bearing in the motor made a bit of a knocking noise. One call to their customer service department and after sending them the serial number and a quick video of the item making the noise, they had a new fan motor assembly out to me within a day. The item shipped from their Chino CA office, so it was super quick. It was a really easy swap and it is as good as new. My experience with Alorair customer service and support was exactly what every experience with a company should be. I can honestly HIGHLY RECOMMEND Alorair and their products.
