I love these onions! They are super flavorful and EASY to cook with. I wouldn't recommend using them on pizzas.. but they are wonderful in soups, and curries, ect.. As long as the onions are hydrated again, they can be used in almost any recipe within reason. If you hydrate them first they are going to be slimy onions so you will want to use them in things that are cooked. That means these hydrated onions are probably not going to be very tasty on a raw salad. However, think of all the cooked recipes you have chopped onions for! The time saved is amazing! The reason why I love these so much is you get the flavor of onions (way better than minced onions at the grocery store), in the recipe AND no teary eyes, onion fingers, and cutting boards! Highly recommend!

My wife couldn't find the chopped onions in our local grocery outlet so we had to order this online. This product works. It was shipped fast. Tastes good on the meals and was cost effective compared to others we looked at.

What can you say? They are onions, they are dry and in nice sized pieces. Good for soup, chili, etc.

Having these on hand are a real treat. Even if I have fresh, sweet onions, I will choose these in some applications, such as; if I want to absorb extra moisture, rather than add moisture, for instance ham, chicken or tuna salads. Make it then refrigerate overnight. The onions will be rehydrated and your salad won't have that wateriness that sometimes happens. A container this size lasts a long time, a year for me. Convenience and excellent flavor, they are small pieces, great for most applications.

hey if you like to cook those all day slow cooker soups these veggies are great throw some meat in a pot add water after browning meat and add dried veggies and some fresh veggies and herbs cover and set on simmer then go do what ever and when you come back you have a GREAT soup EASY way to get a good meal and you can freeze some for anther meal when you really don't want to cook just heat and eat.... lol... .

No more dicing and crying, crying and dicing, then throwing out the spoiled onions after you identified the remains in the fridge two weeks later. Onions ready for the recipe at the twist of the lid. Add the dried carrots, dried celery, a bit of diced garlic - tada - a beautiful mirepoix for roast. So easy, economical, and delicious. Wish I'd had these products when I had little kids; I sure could have used the time savings.

When I make stews or soups or anything with a sauce base, I like grabbing dried chopped onions versus peeling and chopping a fresh onion. I will cook on low heat for hours and these onions will regain their volume without tearing while chopping.

Dried onions are becoming more and more expensive but also difficult to find. I was delighted to find this on Amazon and also to say that the quality is excellent. This tub will last a while but when it's done, I will definitely be back for more. Delicious!!!
